As we race toward August, Footballguys.com will look at one team per day with our extremely in-depth Team Reports and our quick-hitting Team Mood and Players We're In and Out On, where we check out the overall mood of each team's offense and let you know the players we are in on (because they are great values at the cost it takes to acquire them) and who we're out on (because they are too expensive and won't have a good return on that investment).

Staffers in a Good Mood
- Ben Cummins: The offense is led by Patrick Mahomes II. Enough said.
- Jason Wood: They're one of the league's best teams with no real holes precluding them from multiple runs at the Super Bowl in the next 3-5 years.
- Sam Wagman: This is obviously still one of the best offenses in the league.
- Justin Howe: It's not that losing Tyreek Hill doesn't matter - it's just that the Andy Reid-led Chiefs retooled nicely.
- Jeff Haseley: But I can see a scenario without Tyreek Hill where the offense could struggle. I'm not betting against Patrick Mahomes II to figure it out though.
- Christian Williams: But it's not unreasonable to believe in some regression from Patrick Mahomes II as the offense transitions to a more evenly-spread distribution strategy.
- Alfredo Brown: Patrick Mahomes II and Andy Reid are still running the offense.
- Jordan McNamara: Any time Patrick Mahomes II is your starting quarterback, you are on the right track.
- Chad Parsons: Any elite quarterback will lift an offense, even one with questions beyond Travis Kelce across the board.
- Andy Hicks: Despite the loss of Tyreek Hill, there is so much talent on hand. As long as Patrick Mahomes II and Andy Reid work well together, all is well.
- Craig Lakins: Things will look different without lightning-in-a-bottle Tyreek Hill, but as long as Patrick Mahomes II is still at the helm, this offense will function well.
- Jeff Bell: Patrick Mahomes II and Travis Kelce are a healthy environment to reap fantasy points.
Staffers in a Neutral Mood
- Ryan Weisse: Mahomes should be great, but the weapons are questionable outside of Travis Kelce.
Staffers in a Bad Mood
- None
