Linebackers
Chad Muma (JAC): He’s probably on someone’s roster, but if you have the capital to go and get him, he’s worth having on your squad right now and probably for the foreseeable future. Devin Lloyd appears to have hit the proverbial rookie wall, and Muma has been gobbling up tackles over the past two weeks. Yes, Lloyd is good. Yes, Foye Oluokon is also very good. But Muma has value, and if you can get him at the right price, he could prove to really shine even with two good linebackers next to him.
Joe Schobert and Dylan Cole (TEN): David Long is dinged, and Zach Cunningham is on injured reserve. One of Schobert and Cole will have some high-volume tackling upside. Monty Rice may actually figure into the mix too. There’s some upside here in the short term.
Myjai Sanders (ARI): Isaiah Simmons and Zaven Collins have a ton of upside but should one go down with an injury, I think Sanders would step in and really shine. Stash him on your taxi squad.
Defensive Linemen
Davon Godchaux (DT - NEP): Don’t usually recommend Patriot linemen, but Godchaux has a track record of being around the ball a lot, and his 29 assisted tackles prove that. Against the right offense, he can really rack up the tackles. Worth a shot in leagues that start defensive tackles separately.
