Linebackers
Oren Burks (SFO): Azeez Al-Shaair is due back this week, but in case his injury lingers - or if you just want a decent deep league stash - Burks has some value. He had some run with the Packers last year and ended up with 100% of the snaps last week for the Niners, resulting in a line of 4/3 with a pass defense. Just keep him on your radar as there are certainly fantasy points to come out of the Niner linebacking crew.
Dylan Cole (TEN): Cole had some flashes with the Texans in years past and is now getting some regular snaps for the Titans with so many injuries to the Titans outside linebackers. His snap counts need some consistency before you add him, but just keep your eye on him, as he could produce decent tackle numbers if given 50% or more of the snaps.
Malik Reed (PIT): He’s certainly undersized for a pass-rusher at just 6-and-2 and 235 pounds, but he has some sizzle to his game and fits the Steeler scheme nicely. He is coming off his best effort of the season, where he posted four total tackles, a sack, and a pass breakup. There are some nice matchups on the horizon for Reed so watch the snap counts here.
Defensive Linemen
Matt Henningsen (DE - DEN): This is a deeper pick here, as the rookie from Wisconsin has yet to see 30% of the snaps in any game this year. But if the Broncos’ playoff hopes start to dwindle in the coming weeks, it’ll be guys like Henningsen who see their playing time increase. Worth a taxi squad stash just to see how it all pans out.
