It is Championship Week, there is no time to mess around now. For this reason, I am leaving out the sleeper section of this article. The last thing I want to do is throw out sleeper options with intrigue that could sway your decision away from better players and matchups. To recap Week 16, we went with Leonard Floyd and Joe Tryon-Shoyinka to stream. Floyd helped Daniel Hackett be relieved from his duties with a massacre over the Broncos, coming up with two tackles, one for a loss, a sack, and six pressures. Tryon-Shoyinka was nowhere to be found and only registered a single tackle.
At the IDL position, we went with Shy Tuttle and Leonard Williams. Tuttle was quiet with three total tackles, but Williams was a dog. After being the lost defender on the Giants' defensive line for the season, Williams responded with four tackles, two for a loss, a sack, and five pressures. Here are the top IDL and Edge streaming options for Week 17.
Week 17 IDL and Edge Streaming Options
Edge Kayvon Thibodeaux, New York Giants
Matchup: Indianapolis Colts - Ranked 6th in Matt Bitonti's Rankings
After dealing with injuries and a slow start to the season, Thibodeaux has caught fire over his past two games. During that span, he has played 88% of the team's snaps while producing 18 tackles, three for a loss, a sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a touchdown. One of the biggest upsides to Thibodeaux's game is his athleticism. Watch this beautiful dip under the offensive lineman to come up with the sack.

Thibodeaux faces the Colts in Week 17. Not only have they allowed the 2nd most sacks all season (56), but they allowed seven last week in Nick Foles's first start. Thibodeaux could be in for another big game.
Edge Frank Clark, Kansas City Chiefs
Matchup: Denver Broncos - Ranked 24th in Matt Bitonti's Rankings
Calling Clark a streaming option for the fantasy football championship rounds pains me to say more than you even know. Clark has been terrible since coming to Kansas City, so most managers have completely given up on him, myself included. Clark has played very well of late, though. Over the past three games, Clark has eight tackles, four for a loss, two sacks, a forced fumble, and seven pressures. Clark has seen a healthy 72.46% snap share over the 2022 season. He has even shown solid run defense, as you see here, where he sheds the block and explodes for the tackle for a loss.

Clark is having his best season since 2019. He has had few quality pass-rush partners on the edge, but this year he has a formidable rookie in George Karlaftis. The Chiefs square off against the Broncos in Week 17, who have allowed the most sacks in 2022 with 57. If Russ is cooking, the Chiefs pass rush will be like a grease fire.
IDL Grover Stewart, Indianapolis Colts
Matchup: New York Giants - Ranked 22nd in Matt Bitonti's Rankings
Stewart has quietly put together an impressive 2022 campaign. With two games left, he has already set career-highs in tackles (67), tackles for a loss (9), sacks (4), and passes defended (3). Over his last three games, he has accumulated 13 tackles, two for a loss, and a sack. He wins at the point of attack with violent and strong hands, as you can see here against the Chiefs.

In Week 17, the Colts take on the Giants. The Giants have allowed the 5th most sacks in 2022 with 47, giving Stewart some pass-rush potential upside. Moreover, the Giants have the 7th most rushing attempts per game on the season at 30.8. This fits right into Stewart's high tackle floor.
IDL Jarran Reed, Green Bay Packers
Matchup: Minnesota Vikings - Ranked 21st in Matt Bitonti's Rankings
Reed is falling into a great matchup for Championship week. He is coming off of a red-hot Week 16 in which he torched the Dolphins for six tackles, one for a loss, a sack, and four pressures. Reed finished Week 16 with an 89.9 overall defensive grade per PFF. He showed great athleticism, stripping the ball carrier last week and then coming up with the recovery.

Reed and the Packers play the Vikings in Week 17. The Vikings have allowed the sixth-most sacks on the season with 45 but have been shockingly bad over the past three games, allowing 14 sacks. Reed and company should give Kirk Cousins fits.
