Quarterbacks
Rank | Play | Opponent | Salary |
1 | Justin Fields | vs. Dolphins | $5,300 |
2 | Tua Tagovailoa | at Bears | $6,700 |
3 | Josh Allen | at Jets | $8,500 |
Justin Fields ranks 29th in the entire NFL in rushing yards per game (53) and, over the past three weeks, is averaging 11.3 rush attempts, 76.7 rushing yards, and 0.67 rushing touchdowns per game. Fields' rushing floor and upside combination make him an excellent cash play priced at only $5,300 playing at home in a great matchup against a Dolphins defense that ranks 20th in EPA/Play Allowed, 26th in Dropback EPA Allowed, and 24th in Success Rate.
Tua Tagovailoa ranks ninth in passing yards per game (279.7) and fourth in pass touchdowns per game (2) and leads a Dolphins offense that ranks eighth in EPA/Play, 15th in Success Rate, ninth in Pass Rate Over Expected (PROE), and 11th in Early Down Pass Frequency Rate (EDPF). He has an awesome matchup against a Bears defense that ranks 29th in EPA/Play Allowed, 30th in Dropback EPA Allowed, and 28th in Success Rate.
Josh Allen ranks first in passing yards per game (314) and second in pass touchdowns per game (2.7) and leads a Bills offense that ranks first in EPA/Play, first in Success Rate, second in PROE, and second in EDPF. Allen is the best quarterback in fantasy football, and the Jets improved defense won't be able to slow him down.
Running Backs
Rank | Play | Opponent | Salary |
1 | Ken Walker | at Cardinals | $6,200 |
2 | Austin Ekeler | at Falcons | $8,800 |
3 | Deon Jackson | at Patriots | $5,200 |
4 | DOnta Foreman | at Bengals | $6,000 |
5 | Leonard Fournette | vs. Rams | $6,600 |
Ken Walker's usage without Rashaad Penny over the past three games has been elite. Over that span, Walker is averaging 22.3 opportunities per game (would rank fourth over the first nine weeks), 109.7 total yards per game (would rank ninth over the first nine weeks), and 0.7 touchdowns. He's been unleashed and is one of the most talented running backs in the NFL. His matchup doesn't scare us away against a Cardinals defense that ranks 12th in Rush EPA Allowed and 30th in Success Rate, and his DraftKings salary ($6,200) continues to be shockingly affordable.
Austin Ekeler has seen 28 targets over his past two weeks, and without Mike WIlliams and Keenan Allen in this one, there's no reason to believe his extreme usage in the receiving game is going to slow down this week. Ekeler ranks seventh in opportunities per game (20.7), is averaging 1.1 touchdowns per game, and has a matchup to attack against a Falcons defense that ranks 30th in EPA/Play Allowed, 30th in Rush EPA Allowed, and 31st in Success Rate.
