Wednesday Media Updates

***James Conner did not practice and Adam Schefter believes it would be "a mild upset" if he played. JuJu Smith-Schuster has a minor knee injury but is not practicing nearly a week after suffering a concussion. He's also doubtful to play this week.

***Pete Carroll expects Tyler Lockett to play. While Lockett is trending possible, the Seahawks will make sure there are no unexpected setbacks before clearing him to return.

***George Kittle is still not practicing after hyper-extending his knee weeks ago. He's again doubtful this week.

***Jordan Howard has still not been cleared for contact as he recovers from a stinger. He's trending doubtful again this week.

***Dan Quinn told reporters Devonta Freeman was "trending upward" but would need to practice to play. Freeman is more likely to return in Week 13.

***Jameis Winston and Mitchell Trubisky fully practiced on Wednesday and are expected to play.

THURSDAY NIGHT INJURY EXPECTATIONS

Here are the key offensive players listed on the practice participation or game status report for Thursday Night Football:

Indianapolis at Houston

***Deshaun Watson fully practiced on a low-grade high ankle sprain this week and is not on the injury report. There's a chance he'll have some slight limitation but he's recovered well.

***Will Fuller was limited all week and is listed questionable. The Texans will evaluate Fuller in pregame warmups but he's trending toward playing a limited role.

***T.Y. Hilton fully practiced on Wednesday. He's not guaranteed to play after returning to just a short week of practice but the quick escalation in practice participation is promising. Frank Reich and the Colts have not commented on whether Hilton will play and there's no indication of how many snaps he may play. Watch for updates Thursday afternoon and during pregame.

***Marlon Mack will miss multiple weeks after surgery to fix a broken bone in his hand. Jordan Wilkins returned to a full Wednesday practice and should be active.

Early week practice participation and playing expectations

The Wednesday and Thursday practice participation reports are our first chance to see which players each NFL team is limiting in practice after the previous week's games. Players limited in mid-week practice aren't necessarily in danger of missing that week's game. But they all need to be watched closely.
