Putting together a comprehensive overall draft ranking list for fantasy leagues is a bit of an illusion. Tell me who your first ten picks were and who is off the board, and the ranking of remaining players will change. Scoring wrinkles and league size can skew rankings. This list should still be a good jumping off point for garden-variety PPR leagues, and the rankings within positions are still good no matter the format. You'll find that wide receiver and quarterback are deep, tight end is shallow and running back is full of uncertainty... and that maybe there's a defense or two worth drafting this year! Good luck.

Uberstuds
This group can and will win weeks for you on their own.
1. Todd Gurley, RB, LAR - Nothing has changed, still No. 1
2. David Johnson, RB, ARI - Was better than 2017 Gurley in 2016, but how much has the Cardinals offense fallen off?
3. Le’Veon Bell, RB, PIT - Small ding for the holdout and improved backs behind him
4. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, DAL - Correct usage in the passing game would help but worried about Cowboys offense
5. Antonio Brown, WR, PIT - Groin issue isn’t comforting, but likely a non-factor. Running back vs. wide receiver scarcity and the gap between elite and the pack the main factor in putting him here.
6. Rob Gronkowski, TE, NE - Set up for a career-high in targets; injuries haven’t been a major factor in three of last four years.
Strong No. 1s with Uberstud Potential
This group has weekly ceilings to match the uberstuds, but they haven’t hit them as frequently or otherwise carry more risk.
7. Alvin Kamara, RB, NO - Full year of full usage will offset any regression from hyper-efficiency
8. Melvin Gordon, RB, LAC - Foundation back came into his own as a receiver, more touchdowns with Henry out?
9. Leonard Fournette, RB, JAX - Ideal situation, room for growth if he avoids ankle injuries
10. Dalvin Cook, RB, MIN - Knee recovery smooth, a little worried about Vikings line injuries
11. DeAndre Hopkins, WR, HOU - Elite producer as long as his quarterback isn’t Osweiler
12. Odell Beckham, WR, NYG - Back from a shattered ankle, more mouths to feed, but better offense
13. Keenan Allen, WR, LAC - Could lead the league in receptions, play larger red zone role with Henry out
14. Julio Jones, WR, ATL - Touchdowns and overall offensive finishing ability should bounce back
15. A.J. Green, WR, CIN - Offense will be better and ready for impact Ross can only help
16. T.Y. Hilton, WR, IND - High chance Luck is mostly his old self, Hilton should dominate targets
17. Saquon Barkley, RB, NYG - Should pop right away as a receiver, will be worth first if Giants offense clicks.
SOLID No. 1s/Strong No. 2s with Ceiling Limits
You’ll be happy to have this group in your lineup every week, but their season-long and weekly ceilings aren’t as high as the players above, and in some cases, their floors or risk are a lot lower.
18. Davante Adams, WR, GB - Adams has some added concussion downside, but he could be the clear top target in an Aaron Rodgers offense
19. Devonta Freeman, RB, ATL - Freeman got a little dinged last year and the offense underperformed, so there’s room for a bounce back to more uberstud weeks
20. Kareem Hunt, RB, KC - Got a massive share of the backfield last year, could change with Spencer Ware back
21. Michael Thomas, WR, NO - Lacks big play upside and Saints complementary wide receivers improved
22. Joe Mixon, RB, CIN - Offense will be improved, but Bernard outperformed him in lead role last year. How big will his role be?
23. Jordan Howard, RB, CHI - Will fewer Howard-centric games hurt his production more than a rationally coached offense improves it? Warming to him
24. Stefon Diggs, WR, MIN - Tends to miss a few games and hot starts don’t last, but entering prime years
25. Christian McCaffrey, RB, CAR - Lack faith in Norv Turner to get the most out of him and 2017 season total masks bumpy ride, even in PPR leagues.
26. Tyreek Hill, WR, KC - How will the addition of Watkins and change from Smith to Mahomes affect his numbers?
27. Mike Evans, WR, TB - A lot of mouths to feed in Tampa, weekly ceiling getting lower
28. Travis Kelce, TE, KC - New young quarterback and a much better WR2 means he is unlikely to hit 2017 levels
29. Larry Fitzgerald, WR, ARI - Another 100+ catch season is likely in the works
30. Adam Thielen, WR, MIN - Floor dropped a little in the second half of season, but ultra-safe
31. Alex Collins, RB, BAL - Lead back in a productive backfield getting best offensive lineman back from injury
HIGH FLOOR or HIGH CEILING No. 2
This group of No. 2 options has a weekly/season-long floor or ceiling that rivals some No. 1 options
32. Demaryius Thomas, WR, DEN - Sutton may split the target share, but Thomas will be used more like late career Fitzgerald and quarterback play improved
33. Brandin Cooks, WR, LAR - Should get more targets and be used more creatively than Watkins, but how much more?
34. Jarvis Landry, WR, CLE - Everything lining up for a huge target season
35. Amari Cooper, WR, OAK - Will be given the opportunity to be clear No. 1. Can he seize it?
36. Juju Smith-Schuster, WR, PIT - Seems like he has been dealing with knee/leg issue on and off all year and was hyperefficient on very small target total (79)
RISK/REWARD No. 2's
37. Doug Baldwin, WR, SEA - Targets could come in bunches, but will knee issue affect him some or all of the year or even cost him games?
38. Julian Edelman, WR, NE - Some uncertainty with ACL surgery return and suspension, but should be target hog upon return.
39. Chris Hogan, WR, NE - Potential for more targets but also shutdown matchups while Edelman is suspended.
40. Jerick McKinnon, RB, SF - Has never been a lead back, but 49ers paid him like one. Hyde was low RB1 in worse offense last year.
41. Mark Ingram, RB, NO - Was an RB1 after Peterson trade, how much should suspension discount price?
42. Lamar Miller, RB, HOU - Will get touches in ascendant offense by default
43. Marshawn Lynch, RB, OAK - Will Gruden resist the temptation of giving Doug Martin significant touches?
44. Derrick Henry, RB, TEN - Lewis injury upside is big, but not that efficient on per touch basis
45. Josh Gordon, WR, CLE - Sky high ceiling, but uncertainty creates rock bottom floor
46. Corey Davis, WR, TEN - Matthews injury worries open door to a WR1 role for Davis in a better offense
47. Jay Ajayi, RB, PHI - Role will increase, but will he get the majority of goal line looks?
48. Kenyan Drake, RB, MIA - Will Gase play games with him? With even 60% of work could pay off
49. Dion Lewis, RB, TEN - Tons of ability and PPR potential in a forward-looking offense, but hasn’t been that durable
50. LeSean McCoy, RB, BUF - Exempt list risk if any new developments break and in league’s worst offense
TE1/RB2/WR3/ELITE QB GRAB BAG
True impact performers have mostly dried up at this point, but in the mid-rounds, you can still grab options that have solid floors or good enough reward to go with increased risk to include this group in your starting lineup.
51. Allen Robinson, WR, CHI - Will Nagy’s offense have a true No. 1? How will he look coming off of ACL surgery?
52. Sammy Watkins, WR, KC -Will he be a 1A with Hill, or even the No. 1 facing better matchups than he had with 2017 Rams?
53. Aaron Rodgers, QB, GB - Still the standard at quarterback, but the position is deeper than ever
54. Jimmy Graham, TE, GB - Loss of physical upside vs addition of value playing with the best quarterback in the game
55. Royce Freeman, RB, DEN - How quickly can he take over backfield or will Broncos employ committee all year?
56. Zach Ertz, TE, PHI - 2017 touchdown spike could be eaten up by Goedert
57. Jamison Crowder, WR, WAS - Was much better when healthy in the second half and will riff with Smith
58. Golden Tate, WR, DET - Most consistent Lions receiver, but 16 games of Golladay turns this into 1A/1B/1C
59. Deshaun Watson, QB, HOU - Watson can still be an elite fantasy option with a healthy amount of regression
60. Evan Engram, TE, NYG - Getting snaps as outside receiver, could pop if offense focuses on mismatches
61. Jordan Reed, TE, WAS - Should make beautiful music with Smith if he can stay on the field
62. Greg Olsen, TE, CAR - Came on in playoffs, but more targets to share with in Carolina now
63. Kerryon Johnson, RB, DET - How quickly can he take over backfield or will Lions employ committee all year?
64. Rex Burkhead, RB, NE - Michel knee condition raises his floor and ceiling
WR3 CHOICES GO ON FOR MILES
Don’t fear waiting at wide receiver.
65. Marquise Goodwin, WR, SF - Are we ignoring Jimmy Garoppolo’s No. 1 target last year?
66. Michael Crabtree, WR, BAL - Should lead Ravens in targets, what will that be worth?
67. Emmanuel Sanders, WR, DEN - Should be healthier this year with a better quarterback, but targets likely split three ways with Sutton
68. Cooper Kupp, WR, LAR - Could be most valuable Rams receiver if Cooks doesn’t get a big bump from Watkins 2017 targets
69. Marvin Jones, WR, DET - Healthy Golladay will make his year a rollercoaster ride
70. Will Fuller, WR, HOU - Was a WR1 with Watson, but injuries becoming an annual occurrence
71. Nelson Agholor, WR, PHI - Crowded offense, rising talent, but will have fantasy ups and downs
72. Tyler Lockett, WR, SEA - Healthier than last year and Baldwin’s knee could up his ceiling
BOOM/BUST MID-ROUND QB/RB/WR
Lots of weekly and season-long upside in this group, but risk and weekly volatility to go along with the appeal puts them on the fringe of running back and wide receiver starters and quarterbacks worth premium picks.
73. Cam Newton, QB, CAR - Greatly improved targets, offensive line woes mounting, what will Norv do with him?
74. Russell Wilson, QB, SEA - Team wants to run, how’s Baldwin’s knee, any trust in Schottenheimer?
75. Andrew Luck, QB, IND - Uneventful camp points to return of Luck of old
76. Randall Cobb, WR, GB - Set up to be one of Rodgers main targets, but can he stay healthy?
77. Tevin Coleman, RB, ATL - Weekly viability will be helped by Sarkisian year two, needs Freeman injury to be more than 10-12 touch player
78. Kenny Stills, WR, MIA - Parker lackluster camp sets him up to be quasi-WR1
79. Robby Anderson, WR, NYJ - Could get suspended and might have a new quarterback, but he looked like rising star last year
80. Robert Woods, WR, LAR - Could be the biggest loser if Cooks targets much greater than Watkins
81. Alshon Jeffery, WR, PHI - Played with a bum shoulder that was surgically repaired, will that keep him on PUP to open season?
82. Kenny Golladay, WR, DET - Should be No. 1 in the red zone and take up a lot of Ebron's vacated targets
83. Chris Thompson, RB, WAS - Was solid upside RB2 in PPR before the injury
84. Tarik Cohen, RB, CHI - Unknown ceiling as usage should embrace talent this year
85. Jamaal Williams, RB, GB - Two-week head start on Aaron Jones, monitor ankle injury.
86. James White, RB, NE - Healthiest of top three backs in New England
HIGH FLOOR MID-ROUND STANDBYS
A couple of overlooked high floor players and a trio of veteran quarterbacks who are just fine to march out there every week.
87. Carlos Hyde, RB, CLE - More experienced, but maybe lesser talent in Browns backfield
88. Isaiah Crowell, RB, NYJ - A lot cheaper than last year in a better situation and similar role
89. Ben Roethlisberger, QB, PIT - Was QB1 overall from Weeks 10-16 last year
90. Drew Brees, QB, NO - Passing numbers should bounce back, but how much?
91. Tom Brady, QB, NE - Another fantasy playoff swoon last year and Gronk injury could cause offense collapse
92. Delanie Walker, TE, TEN - Jonnu Smith coming on, but Tennessee offense should give more touchdown opportunities, monitor toe injury
UPSIDE PLAYS
At this point in your draft, it’s all about ceiling
93. Anthony Miller, WR, CHI - Show-stealing camp portends big things, but Bears offense has a ton of viable targets
94. Sony Michel, RB, NE - Knee drain sounds like an ongoing issue and will miss rookie training camp rampup in Patriots offense

96. Mike Williams, WR, LAC - Healthy now and could be the biggest beneficiary from Henry injury in red zone
97. Aaron Jones, RB, GB - Best runner in Green Bay, but the suspension to begin the year and battling a hamstring issue
98. Ronald Jones II II, RB, TB - Somewhat quiet camp and might not be much of a passing game threat yet
VALUE PLAYS
Underrated options who should outproduce ADP

100. Jack Doyle, TE, IND - Gets Luck back, targets may be down, but higher value
101. Duke Johnson Jr, RB, CLE - More time in the slot this year?
WIDE RECEIVER QUESTION MARKS
The ceiling is low enough and risk big enough to keep this group a lower priority
102. John Brown, WR, BAL - Looks like old self in Ravens camp, can he stay healthy?
103. Keelan Cole, WR, JAX - Red hot at end of the season and two receivers he shares with have had trouble staying healthy
104. Pierre Garcon, WR, SF - Looking less and less like he's Garoppolo’s No. 1 coming back off of a neck injury
105. Rishard Matthews, WR, TEN - Will offseason injury issue mar his season?
106. DeVante Parker, WR, MIA - Lackluster camp, but is that just Xavien Howard taking off?
SAFE QB1
It’s not difficult to get a reliable starter at quarterback

108. Kirk Cousins, QB, MIN - Offensive line worries, but endured nightmare line injuries last year
109. Philip Rivers, QB, LAC - Will miss Henry, but so consistent year-to-year
RUNNING BACK ROLE PLAYERS
None of these backs are likely to truly take over their backfield, but they can be very efficient in the roles they will have to open the season.

111. Marlon Mack, RB, IND - Should lead Colts backs in touches
112. Ty Montgomery, RB, GB - Back door to big PPR numbers if Cobb gets hurt
WIDE RECEIVER ROLE PLAYERS

118. Nick Chubb, RB, CLE - Tons of ability, can he overtake Hyde this year?

120. Rashaad Penny, RB, SEA - Seattle running game holds down ceiling even if he passes Carson.
121. Matt Breida, RB, SF - If McKinnon can’t hold up, he can be lead back, might have weekly value anyway, sounds like shoulder will be ok

130. D.J. Moore, WR, CAR - Panthers are excited, but lots of mouths to feed in limited pass offense
