WEDNESDAY MEDIA UPDATES
***Julio Jones did not practice today and was listed with a calf injury. We've seen Jones play effectively after missing early week practices -- as long as he returns to a full practice by the end of the week. There were no details on Jones' injury other than beat writers reporting a slight limp after Sunday's game. Friday's participation report will be the critical data point for Jones.
***Leonard Fournette returned to practice today. He did not speak with the media but Blake Bortles told reporters Fournette looked good. If his hamstring responds well to today's limited practice and Fournette practices again Thursday, consider him on the probable side of questionable for Week 3.
***Dalvin Cook's hamstring injury is more than cramps. He missed practice today and told reporters he was "day-to-day." He may return to practice tomorrow and allay any concern for this weekend. More likely, he'll manage a limited late-week practice and be considered a game-time decision.
***Aaron Rodgers won't be healthy for weeks and told reporters today he's still concerned his injury could be aggravated. He also acknowledged the Packers will continue to use a limited game plan until he's closer to his pre-injury form. Expect very limited practice participation again this week but Rodgers will play unless he has an unexpected setback.
***T.Y. Hilton missed practice with a quad injury. His absence is reportedly precautionary but a soft tissue injury leading to a missed mid-week practice always warrants continued observation.
***Marcus Mariota continues to have tingling and weakness in his throwing hand. He feels he's close to returning but grip strength will remain an issue until his symptoms resolve. The Titans kept Mariota on the active roster last week but did not play him. Unless something changes quickly this week, Mariota is likely to continue to rest. Another hit to the same area could result in an even longer recovery.
THURSDAY NIGHT INJURY EXPECTATIONS
Here are the key players listed on the practice participation or game status report for Thursday Night Football:

***Every national and beat writer noted that Jarvis Landry was listed questionable on the final injury report with a knee condition. None offered an opinion on his availability for Thursday night. Landry played 59 of 62 snaps last weekend and there's been no indication of a significant injury. Watch for any news overnight and leading into the inactive list, but expect Landry to be healthy enough to see his usual target share.
***There are multiple injuries on the defensive side of the ball. The Jets will be without safety Marcus Maye, who is listed doubtful and yet to play this year with a foot injury. Cleveland edge Emmanuel Ogbah is out with a high ankle sprain and every-down inside linebacker Christian Kirksey is doubtful with shoulder and ankle injuries. Defensive back Damarious Randall did not practice this week and is listed questionable but tentatively expected to play through a heel injury.
EARly week PRACTICE PARTICIPATION & EARLY EXPECTATIONS
The Wednesday and Thursday practice participation reports are our first chance to see which players each NFL team are limiting in practice after the previous week's games. Players limited in mid-week practice aren't necessarily in danger of missing that week's game. But they all need to be watched closely.
