In this weekly article, we will provide you with some popular "chalk" stacks and some "under the radar" stacks to use in your DraftKings GPP tournaments. (GPPs)
CHALK STACKS
New England Patriots at Dallas Cowboys, Team Total 29.25 points
QB Tom Brady $7,800-TE Rob Gronkowski $7,500 Total Stack $15,300 (30.6% of salary)
QB Tom Brady $7,800-WR Julian Edelman $7,000 Total Stack $14,800 (29.6% of salary)
New England is a 9 point road favorite in Dallas. This game is tied for the highest game total of the week at 49.5 points. Tom Brady is the second highest priced DraftKings quarterback this week. He has 9 touchdowns with zero interceptions on the season and will be popular in GPPs this weekend. Gronkowski is the most expensive tight end by a wide margin because he carries the highest floor/ceiling. Edelman is a the 11th highest priced WR and is a good value with DraftKings PPR format. If you are playing multiple GPP lineups, you should have some exposure to the Patriots offense. I prefer Gronkowski for cash games and a Brady-Edelman stack if playing multiple GPP lineups.
Atlanta Falcons vs. Washington Redskins, Team Total 27.75 points
QB Matt Ryan $6,700-WR Julio Jones $9,200 Total Stack $15,900 (31.8% of salary)
Atlanta is a 7.5 home favorite versus Washington. This game has the third highest total of the week at 48 points. Many that are pivoting off the New England offense will look to the Atlanta passing game. Matt Ryan is good value as the 9th highest priced quarterback on DraftKings this week. Julio Jones is the most expensive DraftKings wide receiver and will be highly owned. While Washington has a solid run defense, they are weak in the secondary. Sam Bradford passed for 270 yards and 3 touchdowns against them last week. The only concern with a Ryan-Jones stack is a game script where Atlanta gets out to a large lead early and takes the foot off the gas pedal.
Green Bay vs. St. Louis Rams, Team Total 27.5 points

Green Bay is a 9 point home favorite versus St. Louis. Many that are pivoting off the New England offense will look to the Green Bay passing game. Aaron Rodgers is the highest priced quarterback on DraftKings this week. Randall Cobb and James Jones are both under-priced and carry multi-touchdown upside. Davante Adams looks to be out again this week with a high ankle sprain. This means that Cobb and Jones will continue to pick up more targets. Vegas expects Green Bay to score close to four touchdowns this week. These points will come via the passing game as St. Louis has a stout front seven on defense. If you are playing multiple GPP lineups, you should have some exposure to the Green Bay offense.
UNDER THE RADAR STACKS
Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders, Team Total 24 points

Denver is a 4.5 point road favorite in Oakland. Manning has looked better over the past couple of weeks playing out of the shotgun. Thomas has double digit targets every week this season. He is on the verge of a breakout game. Last year after a slow start, Thomas broke out Week 5 vs. Arizona with 226 yards and 2 touchdowns. Through four games, Oakland has allowed 310.5 passing yards per game. Oakland's struggles to contain tight ends this season have been well documented. Last season, Manning threw for 340 yards and 5 touchdowns in Oakland Week 10. This is an opportunity to buy a Denver stack where they will be low owned in a great matchup.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. New Orleans Saints, Team Total 27 points

Philadelphia is a 4.5 point home favorite versus New Orleans. This game is tied with the highest total of the week at 49.5 points. The Eagles are 1-3 and need to get on track in this game. New Orleans was in a similar situation last week with a must win game at home versus Dallas. Bradford looked more comfortable in the pocket during the second half last week. Many will shy away from Matthews and Agholor due to their recent numbers. Both receivers are under-priced based on their status in the Philadelphia offense. A Philadelphia stack will be low owned due to regency bias. Make sure you jump back on the Chip Kelly hype train before everyone else.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Chicago Bears, Team Total 27 points
RB Jamaal Charles $7,800-KC Defense $2,800 Total Stack $10,600 (21.2% of salary)
Kansas City is a 9 point home favorite versus Chicago. This is a must win game for the 1-3 Chiefs. Charles is the second highest priced running back on DraftKings with a $7,800 salary. While Charles will be popular this weekend, I do not think many will pair him with a Chiefs defense that has registered negative DraftKings points over the past two weeks. If the Chiefs build a large lead, they will lean on Charles and their defense in the second half. It would not surprise me if the Chiefs score a defensive touchdown this Sunday.
