Derrick Barnes injury update

Detroit Lions LB Derrick Barnes (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list earlier in the season because of injuries to his medial collateral ligament and posterior cruciate ligament but did not have damage to his anterior cruciate ligament. He has not ruled out the possibility of returning at some point this season.

Detroit sends two to injured reserve

Detroit Lions LB Derrick Barnes (knee) and DL Marcus Davenport (elbow) were placed on the Reserve/Injured list on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The Lions also signed WR Tim Patrick off the practice squad and added him to the active roster.
