1. CLE - WR Odell Beckham Jr. expected at camp

Source: ESPN - Chris Mortensen

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. is expected to report to the team's first organized team activities practice Tuesday, May 14.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Beckham seems to be re-energized after his trade to Cleveland. Working with QB Baker Mayfield should result in outstanding performance for Beckham and the Fantasy GMs who are able to secure him on their rosters. Beckham has a current ADP of WR5 (2.03) in 12-team PPR leagues.

2. MIN - TE Kyle Rudolph hopes to stay

Source: St. Paul Pioneer Press - Chris Tomasson

Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph said he hopes to remain with the Vikings but would like a decision on his status with the team in the near future.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rudolph has one year left on his contract with the Vikings. He's on the books for around $7.6 million and there is zero remaining in dead money. The Vikings selected Alabama TE Irv Smith Jr. in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft, and he should be groomed to be the eventual starter. That doesn't bode well for Rudolph sticking in Minnesota.

3. CLE - RB Duke Johnson participating

Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson will participate in voluntary organized team activities Tuesday, May 14.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson's days with the Browns seemed to be numbered, and there was buzz about him wanting to be traded. The Browns added Kareem Hunt and he'll work into the mix after he serves his 8-game suspension. Johnson will work as the change-of-pace back behind starter Nick Chubb. When Hunt is back from suspension, Johnson's role should be greatly reduced.

4. TB - DT Gerald McCoy not at OTAs

Source: Tampa Bay Times - Rick Stroud

Tampa Bay Buccaneers DT Gerald McCoy is not participating in voluntary organized team activities Tuesday, May 14.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No surprise here. McCoy has been staying away from the Bucs facility this offseason while rumors continue to swirl about the team trading him away at some point (perhaps to Cleveland?). The veteran defensive lineman is due $13 million in 2019 and he's signed through 2021, but there is zero remaining in dead money on his deal. The Bucs might trade him or we might see some sort of restructure that reduces his cap hit and then gives him some guarantees in future years. Stay tuned.

5. IND - TE Jack Doyle likely to be ready for camp

Source: FOX 59 Indianapolis - Mike Chappell

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (hip) remains on track for training camp, according to general manager Chris Ballard.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Doyle only made it through six games last year. The Colts had Eric Ebron break out in a big way, so when Doyle returns he'll be a reserve player with little fantasy value unless there's an injury in front of him on the depth chart.

6. IND - TE Eric Ebron recovering from groin surgery

Source: FOX 59 Indianapolis - Mike Chappell

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (groin) recently underwent groin surgery, according to general manager Chris Ballard.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ebron was a monster last year and a fantasy force to be reckoned with...and he did most of that while battling various minor injuries. We'll know more about Ebron's status when training camp gets closer, but expect the Colts to ease him back into action.

7. SEA - Seattle locks up four more rookies

Source: Seahawks.com - John Boyle

Seattle Seahawks fourth-round WR Gary Jennings, sixth-round RB Travis Homer and sixth-round DT Demarcus Christmas and seventh-round WR John Ursua signed undisclosed four-year contracts Tuesday, May 14.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jennings is not the fastest prospect but he can be a reliable possession receiver. Homer is a compact back with the quickness and footwork to be elusive in space. While not a pile-pusher, Homer is intent as a runner and not afraid to run inside. Ursua is a speed slot receiver who needs to learn how to run better routes. We'll watch all of these rookie in various degrees of dynasty formats.

8. CAR - Carolina picks up TE Temarrick Hemingway

Source: The Athletic - Nicki Jhabvala

Free-agent TE Temarrick Hemingway (Broncos) was claimed off waivers by the Carolina Panthers on Tuesday, May 14.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hemingway has bounced around a bit in the pros, mainly in the AFC West. He's super athletic for a tight end and plays like a super-sized wide receiver. Hemingway is a long-shot to make it with the Panthers.

Source: ESPN.com - Mike Wells

10. NYJ - NY Jets scoop two up off waivers

Source: NewYorkJets.com - Ethan Greenberg

Free-agent WR Xavier Ubosi (Patriots) and OT Calvin Anderson (Patriots) were claimed off waivers by the New York Jets on Tuesday, May 14. WR DeAngelo Yancey and OT Dieugot Joseph were waived to open up roster spots for the duo.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

If you play in crazy deep dynasty formats, Ubosi is an interesting player to monitor. Measuring in at 6'3" 215 pounds, Ubosi was a bit of a touchdown hog at UAB over the last two seasons. Playing in a run-first offense in college, Ubosi is a project and a long-shot to make the Jets practice squad.

11. NE - N'Keal Harry puts pen to paper

Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper

New England Patriots first-round WR N'Keal Harry (Arizona State) signed a four-year contract worth $10,098,348 on Tuesday, May 14. The deal includes a team option for a fifth year and a reported signing bonus of $5,364,252.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Harry is an ultra-competitive wide receiver who can win at the catch point consistently. He's good when running after the catch and can turn short passes into scores. We're excited to see how Harry fits into the Patriots offense, mainly in dynasty formats.

12. BAL - Baltimore inks Joe Horn Jr.

Source: ESPN.com - Jamison Hensley

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Horn is the son of former Saints star receiver Joe Horn, and he tried out with the Ravens during rookie minicamp. The team liked what they saw and signed him to the 90-man roster. We'll see if Horn can make the Ravens practice squad in 2019.

13. NFL - DE Dion Jordan slapped with 10-game ban

Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper

Free-agent DE Dion Jordan (Seahawks) was handed a 10-game suspension by the league for a violation of the league's performance-enhancing drug policy Tuesday, May 14.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Seahawks tried to make things work with Jordan over the last two years. He missed plenty of time due to injury, and Jordan only played in 17 games during that span. He logged 5.5 sacks during that time, but only 1.5 sacks in 2018 playing in 12 games. Jordan won't get much interest if any with this suspension on the open market.

15. ARI - Dontae Strickland joins Cards

Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

Undrafted free-agent RB Dontae Strickland (Syracuse) signed with the Arizona Cardinals Monday, May 13. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Strickland was the second-string back for Syracuse in 2018. He had 599 rushing yards last season, with 120 of those yards coming in one game against Boston College. He also wasn't used much as a receiver out of the backfield, only snaring 15 catches in 2018. At 5'11" 204 pounds, Strickland does not stand out with speed or power. He is a determined runner and a long-shot to make the Cardinals 53-man roster.
