1. PIT - Second-round pick for WR Antonio Brown?

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown will be the subject of trade offers this offseason. Numerous general managers believe the Steelers could obtain at least a second-round pick for Brown, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Brown may not fetch the first-round pick that Amari Cooper was worth to the Cowboys, but he's going to be highly sought after. Among the teams who could be interested in Brown are the Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, New York Jets and Denver Broncos.

2. HOU - OLB Jadeveon Clowney may receive tag

Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson

Houston Texans impending free-agent DE Jadeveon Clowney likely will receive the franchise tag this offseason if the two sides are not able to reach a long-term deal.

The franchise tag has to be a last-resort option for the Texans. Clowney is one of the most dominant players at his position and we doubt the Texans let him get away.

3. JAX - QB Ryan Tannehill may see interest from Jags

Source: CBSSports.com - Jason La Canfora

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill is one of the quarterbacks the Jacksonville Jaguars are considering pursuing this offseason, according to sources.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That sounds about right. The Jaguars are in need of an upgrade at the quarterback position. Blake Bortles has a $21 million cap hit in 2019 with $16.5 million in dead money. Expect the Jaguars to explore all options available at the quarterback position.

4. JAX - QB Nick Foles an option for Jaguars?

Source: CBSSports.com - Jason La Canfora

Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles is one of the quarterbacks the Jacksonville Jaguars are considering pursuing this offseason, according to sources.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Foles is going to be one of the hotter names potentially on the open market. We'll see if the Jaguars are able to get an upgrade at the QB position so they can get away from Blake Bortles as their starter.

5. JAX - Jacksonville may pursue QB Joe Flacco

Source: CBSSports.com - Jason La Canfora

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco is one of the quarterbacks the Jacksonville Jaguars are considering pursuing this offseason, according to sources. Flacco is believed to be open to joining the Jaguars.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This move seems to make a ton of sense for both sides. Flacco is likely to get released by the Ravens as they move forward with Lamar Jackson as their starting quarterback. The Jaguars need to move on from Blake Bortles as their starter and Flacco could be their top target.

6. DEN - Denver interested in WR Antonio Brown?

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown is expected to receive interest from the Denver Broncos if he is placed on the trade block this offseason.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That would be an expensive move for any team interested...and the Broncos seem like an odd fit. First, they have Emmanuel Sanders as their no.1 receiver and he's in the final year of his contract. Second, they have second-year pros Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton as up-and-coming playmakers. To get Brown it would take a second-round pick (maybe more) and Denver doesn't have the most cap space at this time. Stay tuned.

7. DAL - Dallas views Jason Garrett as long-term solution

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

The Dallas Cowboys are expected to begin negotiations with head coach Jason Garrett on a contract extension during the offseason, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Things change quickly around here. It was only a couple of months ago where it seemed like things were tense in Dallas with Garrett (and QB Dak Prescott). Now, the Cowboys are making a postseason run and Garrett is seen as their coach for the long term. Garrett has been the Cowboys head coach since 2011.

8. NYJ - Adam Gase officially named head coach

Source: NFL.com - Jeremy Bergman

The New York Jets officially introduced former Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase as their new head coach Friday, Jan. 11.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Peyton Manning approves of this move. Gase had his best years as an offensive coach when he was working together with Manning in Denver. The coach failed to impress with the Dolphins, mostly because of personnel issues. The Jets have what they believe is a franchise quarterback in Sam Darnold, and Gase's most important task will be crafting an offense suited for their young starter.

9. MIA - Miami signs QB Jake Rudock

Source: The Miami Herald - Barry Jackson

The Miami Dolphins signed free-agent QB Jake Rudock (Lions) to a Reserve/Future contract Friday, Jan. 11.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rudock has spent most of his time in the pros with the Lions. A sixth-round pick out of Michigan in the 2016 NFL draft (Lions), Rudock is tough, plays with heart but lacks a starter's skill set. He's likely just a camp arm for the Dolphins and whatever direction they go in for 2019.

10. CIN - Hue Jackson fired

Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Charean Williams

Cincinnati Bengals assistant coach Hue Jackson was fired on Friday, Jan. 11, according to sources.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Bengals are just waiting for Rams QB coach Zac Taylor to be named their new head coach. Taylor is likely to bring in his own staff and that's why Jackson is gone. Failed as a head coach with the Browns (and not that great with the Bengals), Jackson may have to accept a position coaching job in 2019.

11. BUF - ILB Tremaine Edmunds has room to grow

Source: BuffaloBills.com

Buffalo Bills LB Tremaine Edmunds's 121 tackles and seven quarterback hits were the second most in franchise history for a rookie, and he said he is still learning to trust his instincts. 'I'm still building each week to try to get to that point where I can just play free all around,' Edmunds said. 'As I continue to grow and develop, that'll come.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Edmunds compiled good stats as a rookie in 2018 but his play was a bit average at times. His upside is through the roof so when he is finished developing as a pro, Edmunds could be one of the best in the league at his position.

12. DET - RB Zach Zenner has earned trust

Source: DetroitLions.com - Mike O'Hara

Detroit Lions RB Zach Zenner was praised for his consistency by head coach Matt Patricia. 'He's somebody you can put in any situation, and he'll execute to the highest of his ability,' Patricia said.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Zenner is set to be an unrestricted free agent in 2019. He could easily return to the Lions where he's spent the last few years after coming out of South Dakota State as an undrafted free agent in 2015. Zenner rushed for 265 yards in 2018 with three rushing touchdowns and a career-high 4.8 yards per carry.
