Howdy Folks,

Good Saturday to you. And remember - there are NFL Games today. Don't forget to set a lineup.

We've got some News and Notes so let's get to it.

1. DET - QB Matthew Stafford listed as questionable

Source: DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (back) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 14, and is listed as questionable for Week 15.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Stafford should play, but a sore back in the Buffalo cold does not sound like a good recipe for fantasy production.

2. PIT - RB James Conner questionable

Source: Steelers.com - Teresa Varley

Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 14, and is listed as questionable for Week 15.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Conner could play this weekend, but at least one beat writer doesn't expect him to go. Jaylen Samuels becomes a what the heck flex or desperation play if Conner can play, and Conner a boom/bust RB2.

3. TB - WR DeSean Jackson a no-go for Week 15

Source: Buccaneers.com - Scott Smith

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR DeSean Jackson (thumb) has been ruled out for Week 15 versus the Baltimore Ravens.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Chris Godwin and Adam Humphries will be the main beneficiaries of Jackson's absence, although the Bucs passing game could be in for a long day at Baltimore.

4. NYG - WR Odell Beckham Jr. to miss 2nd straight game

Source: The Athletic - Dan Duggan

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (quadriceps) on Friday, Dec. 14, was ruled out for the team's Week 15 game against the Tennessee Titans as he deals with a quadriceps injury that also sidelined him in Week 14.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sterling Shepard will be the Giants #1 receiver, but this points to more Saquon Barkley more than any bump in the passing game. Eli Manning falls out of QB2/Superflex consideration on this news.

5. NYJ - RB Isaiah Crowell to IR

Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

New York Jets RB Isaiah Crowell (toe) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Friday, Dec. 14.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Elijah McGuire will be the starter from here on out, but he's more Flex than RB2 with the low ceiling of the Jets offense in mind.

6. PHI - QB Carson Wentz has stress injury

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Updating previous reports, Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz (back) has a stress injury in his back that has evolved over time, according to head coach Doug Pederson. A full recovery would take three months, but he's expected to be listed as questionable and travel with the team.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wentz apparently had a similar injury in college, so this is something to watch going forward in dynasty leagues.

7. LAC - WR Keenan Allen could miss time

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hip) suffered a hip pointer during the Week 15 game and could miss some playing time. Allen does not have any structural damage in his hip and is expected to miss an extended period of time.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This doesn't sound good for his availability against the Ravens next week. Mike Williams should be the hottest pickup of Week 16 in leagues that still have waivers open.

8. SEA - RB Chris Carson on track to play

Source: Seahawks.com - John Boyle

Seattle Seahawks RB Chris Carson (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Carson is a strong RB2 this week with Rashaad Penny out and a favorable matchup against the 49ers.

9. SF - Week 15 injury report for San Francisco

Source: 49ers.com

San Francisco 49ers DL Ronald Blair (groin), RB Matt Breida (ankle), WR Marquise Goodwin (calf), DL Cassius Marsh (concussion), LB Mark Nzeocha (groin), WR Dante Pettis (foot), LB Malcolm Smith (Achilles'), S Jaquiski Tartt (shoulder) and CB K'Waun Williams (knee) were each listed as limited participants in practice Friday, Dec. 14. Tartt has been ruled out for Week 15 against the Seattle Seahawks, Breida, Goodwin, Marsh, Nzeocha, Pettis and Williams are listed as questionable, while Blair and Smith were removed from the report. D.J. Jones (back), C Weston Richburg (knee), OT Joe Staley (not injury related) and OL Laken Tomlinson (hip) practiced in full and are each off the report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The backfield and passing game are both uncertain with the #1 back and #1 and #2 receivers both questionable. This is also one of the two afternoon games, so you'll have a limited number of hedges available if any of the key 49ers are inactive.

10. OAK - WR Martavis Bryant suspended indefinitely

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Oakland Raiders WR Martavis Bryant has been suspended indefinitely for violating the terms of his reinstatement as well as violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This was expected since the summer. Bryant will likely go down as an example of disappointment and squandered gifts.

11. GB - WR Randall Cobb a full participant

Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cobb is as healthy as he has been since Week 1 and he's facing the opponent that he put up his best game of the year on - the Chicago Bears. He's worth a look in PPR leagues.

12. PHI - Week 15 injury report for Philadelphia

Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles LB Jordan Hicks (calf), DT Timmy Jernigan (back), CB Sidney Jones (hamstring), OL Isaac Seumalo (pectoral) and QB Carson Wentz (back) did not practice Friday, Dec. 14 and each are listed as out for Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams, except for Wentz who is doubtful. DE Michael Bennett (foot), WR Shelton Gibson (wrist), OT Lane Johnson (not injury related) and CB Avonte Maddox (ankle, knee) practiced in full and are questionable, except for Johnson who was removed from the report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jones will be missed against the Rams passing attack. It should be a bounce back week for Jared Goff.

13. DET - Week 15 injury report for Lions

Source: DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions DT Da'Shawn Hand (knee), OT Ricky Wagner (concussion) and S Charles Washington (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 14, and have been ruled out for Week 15. LB Trevor Bates (ankle), FB Nick Bellore (ankle), CB Marcus Cooper (back), OT Taylor Decker (shoulder) and LB Devon Kennard (hip) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable.

14. DET - WR Bruce Ellington ruled out

Source: DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions WR Bruce Ellington (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 14, and has been ruled out for Week 15.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rookie UDFA Brandon Powell could get a longer audition in the slot this week with Ellington out.

15. DAL - Week 15 injury report for Dallas

Source: The Dallas Morning News - Jon Machota

Dallas Cowboys DE David Irving (ankle), OG Zack Martin (knee) and TE Geoff Swaim (wrist) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 14, and have been ruled out for Week 15. DE Randy Gregory (non-injury) and WR Lance Lenoir (illness) did not practice and are listed as questionable. WR Tavon Austin (groin), LB Sean Lee (hamstring) and OT Tyron Smith (neck) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. CB Anthony Brown (hand) and OG Xavier Su'a-Filo (ankle, thumb) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With Swaim out once again, Blake Jarwin is a desperation play in deep leagues.

16. ATL - TE Austin Hooper a limited participant

Source: ESPN.com - Josh Weinfuss

Atlanta Falcons TE Austin Hooper (ankle, knee) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 14, but is not on the injury report for Week 15.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hooper's missed practices earlier this week were simply to rest his injury. He's a low-end TE1 against the Cardinals this week.

17. CHI - WR Allen Robinson listed as questionable

Source: ChicagoBears.com

Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson (hip) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 14, but is listed as questionable for Week 15.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Robinson looks good to go against a sometimes beatable Packers secondary, but check back on Sunday to be sure.

18. NO - Simmie Cobbs headed to New Orleans

Source: The New Orleans Advocate - Nick Underhill

Washington Redskins WR Simmie Cobbs was signed off the practice squad by the New Orleans Saints on Friday, Dec. 14, according to a source.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We should pay attention any time the Saints take interest in an undrafted offensive skill player. Cobbs had some great games in the Big Ten, including against corners now in the NFL like Denzel Ward. He isn't the fastest, but he can win at the catch point.

19. MIA - RB Kenyan Drake a full participant

Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero

Miami Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Drake is a boom/bust RB2/Flex against a tough Vikings defense. Hopefully Adam Gase will use him more to build on the momentum of his all-timer walk-off touchdown last week.

20. WAS - TE Jordan Reed ruled out for Week 15

Source: Redskins.com

Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (ankle, foot) will not play in Week 15 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Vernon Davis has some desperation TE1 appeal as long as Josh Johnson can play as well as he did in relief of Mark Sanchez last week. The Jaguars matchup also funnels targets to the tight end because of their strong cornerback play.

21. IND - WR T.Y. Hilton draws questionable tag

Source: The Indianapolis Star - Zak Keefer

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. HIlton (ankle) missed practice Friday, Dec. 14, and was listed as questionable for the team's Week 15 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hilton will be a game-time decision. He's too good to bench if active, but this is a tougher matchup than last week and Hilton is a risky DFS play in light of that.

22. DET - RB Kerryon Johnson likely to remain out

Source: ESPN.com - Michael Rothstein

Detroit Lions RB Kerryon Johnson (knee) was not seen at practice Friday, Dec. 14.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It will be another week of LeGarrette Blount, Zach Zenner, and Theo Riddick with a tough matchup looming at Buffalo.

23. KC - CB Kendall Fuller having surgery

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Kansas City Chiefs CB Kendall Fuller (wrist) is having surgery to repair a fracture in his wrist Friday, Dec. 14, that he suffered in the Thursday night game the previous day. His timetable is unknown.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett should both benefit from this development. Fuller is easily the Chiefs best corner and he was the key piece in the Alex Smith trade.
