1. ATL - RB Ito Smith scores in win

Source: ESPN.com

Atlanta Falcons RB Ito Smith rushed 10 times for 60 yards and a touchdown and caught one pass for four yards in a 38-14 win over the Washington Redskins in Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Smith showed great strength on his touchdown run and showed he is definitely worth a bench spot if not a matchup flex look going forward. Tevin Coleman's injury history suggests that Smith could have a leap in value yet.

2. ATL - RB Tevin Coleman piles up 156 total yards

Source: ESPN.com

Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman rushed 13 times for 88 yards and caught five passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-14 win over the Washington Redskins in Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Falcons finally used Coleman more frequently and creatively in the passing game a la 2016 in the end of the Kyle Shanahan era. He'll be a tempting RB2 against the Browns next week.

3. ATL - Four scores for QB Matt Ryan

Source: ESPN.com

Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan completed 26 of 38 passes for 350 yards, four touchdowns and an interception in a 38-14 win over the Washington Redskins in Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ryan had a poor game on the road in Pittsburgh, but he was masterful against a Washington defense that was highly rated coming into the game. He'll face a wilting Cleveland defense next week.

4. NYJ - WR Quincy Enunwa limited to 40 yards

Source: 1 No Source

New York Jets WR Quincy Enunwa posted three receptions for 40 yards on four targets in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It wasn't a triumphant return for Enunwa, but he should look better as he gets more up to speed after a long layoff. He's possible bench depth in PPR leagues now that he's back on the field.

5. NYJ - TE Chris Herndon posts game-high 62 yards

Source: 1 No Source

New York Jets TE Chris Herndon registered four receptions for a game-high 62 yards on four targets in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Herndon has been worth the start for about a month now, so he's worth a streamer look against the Bills next week and might be an answer at tight end for the stretch run.

6. NYJ - QB Sam Darnold mistake-prone in loss

Source: 1 No Source

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold completed 21-of-37 passes for 229 yards, no touchdowns and four interceptions, including a pick-six, in the Week 9 game against the Miami Dolphins.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Darnold had his receiver trio intact this week, but it didn't matter against a Dolphins defense that looked atrocious against Houston last week. He'll face a tough Bills defense in what should be an uphill battler next week.

7. CLE - TE David Njoku finishes with 53 yards

Source: 1 No Source

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku ended up with four catches for 53 yards on five targets in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Njoku was a decent play after not getting a target last week. He'll have a great matchup against the Falcons next week and should be in lineups.

8. CLE - RB Duke Johnson huge as receiver

Source: 1 No Source

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson rushed just once for eight yards in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but he posted a game-high nine grabs with a team-best 78 yards and two touchdowns.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson was a fantasy non-factor until this week, but with a change in offensive coordinator and head coach this could be a trend. The Browns face the Falcons next week, which has been a great matchup for receiving running backs.

9. CLE - RB Nick Chubb busy in Week 9 loss

Source: 1 No Source

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb registered 22 rushes for 85 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Kansas City.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Browns stayed committed to the run despite falling behind, which is comforting when playing Chubb as your RB2. Atlanta shut down Adrian Peterson today, and that's who Chubb will play next week.

10. CLE - QB Baker Mayfield just misses 300 yards

Source: 1 No Source

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield completed 29-of-42 passes for 297 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the Week 9 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mayfield did better in the Freddie Kitchens offense, using more of Duke Johnson and even hooking up with Antonio Callaway in the deep passing game. He's a viable streamer against the Falcons next week.

11. KC - RB Spencer Ware totals 81 yards

Source: 1 No Source

Kansas City Chiefs RB Spencer Ware posted two rushes for just 12 yards in Week 9 against the Cleveland Browns, but he added four grabs for 69 yards on five targets.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ware looked as good as he did when he was flirting with RB1 numbers in 2016. If Kareem Hunt goes down, he'll be a league winner. Ware is the most valuable handcuff in the league.

12. KC - RB Kareem Hunt finds end zone three times

Source: 1 No Source

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt registered 17 rushes for 91 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 9 win against the Cleveland Browns and he scored a 50-yard touchdown on a catch, too.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hunt was a monster play and is rivaling any back in the league in fantasy impact right now. He'll be set up for a massive game against the Cardinals next week.

13. TB - WR Mike Evans keyed on by Carolina

Source: 1 No Source

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans posted just one grab for 16 yards on 10 targets in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Evans had James Bradberry in his face at times and the downfield passing game never heated up for the Bucs in this game. He's still a must play against Washington next week.

14. TB - WR Chris Godwin takes step back in loss

Source: 1 No Source

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin registered two receptions for 40 yards on three targets in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Godwin was consistent with Ryan Fitzpatrick earlier this year but took a backseat to Adam Humphries in this one. He's just bench depth until he warms up again heading into a matchup with Washington.

15. TB - WR Adam Humphries shines in Carolina

Source: 1 No Source

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Adam Humphries managed eight receptions for 82 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Humphries had been an afterthought for Fitzpatrick earlier in the year, but he was heavily used against the Panthers with their outside corners taking away Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson. He could have another nice week against Washington this week and should be picked up in all leagues.

16. TB - QB Ryan Fitzpatrick tosses four TDs

Source: 1 No Source

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 24-of-40 passes for 243 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers. He also ran for 23 yards.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fitzpatrick started slow, but eventually got the Bucs within a score in the second half. There's no reason he would lose his job going into a matchup against a Washington defense that didn't look nearly as good as its ranking today against Atlanta.

17. CAR - WR D.J. Moore limited to two touches

Source: NFL

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore had just one catch for 16 yards on two targets in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he ran once for 32 yards.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Moore looked explosive on his touches, but Curtis Samuel and Christian McCaffrey finished drives, giving him little opportunity to come through on the masses that used him in fantasy leagues today. He'll be a boom/bust WR3/Flex against the Steelers this week.

18. CAR - WR Devin Funchess so-so in victory

Source: 1 No Source

Carolina Panthers WR Devin Funchess posted four receptions for 44 yards on five targets in the Week 9 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Funchess is becoming the victim of a deep group of weapons in the Panthers passing game. He is still playing well, but his target share isn't high enough to make him a dependable every week start right now.

19. CAR - TE Greg Olsen busy in home victory

Source: 1 No Source

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen logged six receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown on six targets in the Week 9 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Olsen has looked like his old self the last two weeks and is showing no ill effects from the foot injury he is playing through. Consider him a strong TE1 against the Steelers on Thursday.

20. CAR - WR Curtis Samuel scores two times

Source: 1 No Source

Carolina Panthers WR Curtis Samuel posted two grabs for 25 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he added a 33-yard rush for score.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Samuel stole DJ Moore's thunder in a week that most had Moore as a strong play. The Panthers have a deep group of weapons that may make it difficult to project this passing game.

21. CAR - RB Christian McCaffrey scores twice

Source: 1 No Source

Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey rushed 17 times for 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Week 9 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he had five grabs for a team-high 78 yards on six targets.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCaffrey had easy scores and found lots of room as a receiver and a runner against a weak Bucs defense. He's an elite RB1 heading into a matchup with the Steelers on Thursday.

22. CAR - QB Cam Newton tosses two TDs

Source: 1 No Source

Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton completed 19-of-25 passes for 247 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he ran 11 times for 33 yards.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Newton had an adequate but disappointing game for fantasy because the Panthers scored four times on the ground, none to Newton. He'll go into a matchup Thursday with the Steelers as an elite QB1.

23. CHI - RB Jordan Howard accounts for two TDs

Source: NFL.com

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries against the Buffalo Bills in Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Howard was able to score twice because the Bears dominated the game. We are seeing his ceiling games which are modest but useful. He'll be worth an RB2 look against the Lions next week too.

24. MIN - WR Adam Thielen's 100-yard streak ends

Source: 1 No Source

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen registered four receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions, ending his NFL record-tying streak of eight-straight games with 100 or more yards.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thielen didn't really need to break a sweat with the Lions never really threatening in this one. This result shouldn't affect your perception of his value going forward.

25. CHI - QB Mitchell Trubisky throws for 135 yards

Source: NFL.com

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky went 12-for-20 for 135 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Buffalo Bills in Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Trubisky was just short on a potential rushing score, but with the defense outscoring the Bills, he wasn't really needed in this one. He'll be a decent streamer against the Lions next week, but if the defense is strong, it will limit his upside.

26. BAL - WR John Brown held in check

Source: NFL.com

Baltimore Ravens WR John Brown caught three passes for 17 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Brown wasn't able to get free with the Ravens missing both starting tackles and the Steelers playing aggressive defense. He's a boom/bust WR3/Flex heading into his bye.

27. BAL - TE Mark Andrews finishes with 50 yards

Source: NFL.com

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews caught three passes for 50 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Andrews was also a favorite red zone target of Joe Flacco, but the two couldn't hook up for a score. He'll have some streamer appeal after the bye.

28. BAL - RB Alex Collins reaches end zone

Source: NFL.com

Baltimore Ravens RB Alex Collins rushed for 35 yards and one touchdown on nine carries against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Collins was able to get a score to salvage his fantasy day and didn't show any ill effects from the foot issue that cost him practice time earlier in the week. He's a low ceiling RB2 heading into the bye.

29. BAL - QB Joe Flacco throws for 209 yards

Source: NFL.com

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco went 23-for-37 for 209 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Flacco wasn't able to get anything done in the red zone. He didn't see a wide open Lamar Jackson on one drive and wasn't effective throwing downfield. We might see Lamar Jackson get a start soon if the Ravens don't end their three game losing streak soon.

30. PIT - TE Vance McDonald quiet in Week 9

Source: NFL.com

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Vance McDonald caught three passes for 25 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McDonald didn't post any highlight reel plays after the catch today. The Steelers are going to continue to split the productive tight end role and make it hard to use in fantasy leagues.

31. MIN - RB Latavius Murray finds end zone

Source: 1 No Source

Minnesota Vikings RB Latavius Murray ran 10 times for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Week 9 game against the Detroit Lions and he added a 16-yard grab on his only target.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Murray had a touchdown that looked like a fumble at first to make an acceptable score for anyone that relied on him with the uncertainty about Dalvin Cook hanging over the Vikings backfield. He'll likely go back to being a mere handcuff after the bye, but one that has proven he is at the top of his game this year.

32. MIN - RB Dalvin Cook back with 89 yards

Source: 1 No Source

Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook rushed 10 times for 89 yards in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions and he added four receptions for 20 yards.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cook had a 70-yard run to show his hamstring is just fine and he was heavily involved early. He has the look of an RB1 or at least strong RB2 after the bye.

33. PIT - WR Antonio Brown reaches end zone again

Source: NFL.com

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown caught five passes for 42 yards and one touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Brown didn't have any big plays, but he didn't have to as the Steelers controlled the game. He will face a good young corner in a marquee matchup against the Panthers on Thursday.

34. MIN - QB Kirk Cousins tosses TD in victory

Source: NFL

Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins completed 18-of-22 passes for 164 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Week 9 win against the Detroit Lions.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cousins didn't have to exert himself much as the Vikings defense held the Lions without a touchdown and scored one of their own. It was a dud for Cousins heading into the bye, but he's still a QB1 for the stretch run.

35. PIT - WR JuJu Smith-Schuster catches seven passes

Source: NFL.com

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster caught seven passes for 78 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Smith-Schuster's ceiling is lower when the Steelers control the game, but he's still playing very well heading into a matchup against a surging Panthers cornerback duo on Thursday.

36. PIT - RB James Conner plays well again

Source: NFL.com

Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner rushed for 107 yards on 24 carries against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9. He also caught seven passes for 56 yards and one touchdown during the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Conner has become every bit the engine of the Steelers offense and fantasy team that LeVeon Bell was going into this year. He should maintain a fantasy relevant role when Bell returns - if he returns. He'll surely start and carry the load on Thursday night against the Panthers no matter what Bell does on Monday.

37. DET - RB Theo Riddick hauls in seven catches

Source: 1 No Source

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick posted a game-high seven receptions for 36 yards on eight targets in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Riddick could inherit a lot of the high percentage targets that Golden Tate vacated and provide us some cheap PPR points. He should be picked up in PPR leagues with the Bears up next.

38. DET - WR Kenny Golladay makes three grabs

Source: 1 No Source

Detroit Lions WR Kenny Golladay posted three receptions for 46 yards on four targets in the Week 9 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Golladay didn't do much in the first game without Golden Tate in the Lions offense. He might be better off on our benches with another tough matchup against the Bears up next week.

39. DET - WR Marvin Jones posts six receptions

Source: 1 No Source

Detroit Lions WR Marvin Jones racked up six catches for 66 yards on eight targets in the Week 9 loss against the Minnesota Vikings.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jones was a useful fantasy receiver even if he didn't tilt your matchup. He should get enough targets every week now to have a safe floor. He's a solid WR2/WR3 next week at Chicago.

40. DET - RB Kerryon Johnson bottled up in loss

Source: 1 No Source

Detroit Lions RB Kerryon Johnson rushed 12 times for just 37 yards in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings and he added three grabs for seven yards on five targets.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson watched Theo Riddick get the majority of the running back targets and a game script and matchup that never got him on track. He's slipping from the RB2 ranks next week at Chicago.

41. DET - Poor number for QB Matthew Stafford

Source: 1 No Source

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford completed 25-of-36 passes for just 199 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 9 loss against the Minnesota Vikings and he added four runs for 11 yards.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Stafford and the Lions offense was feeble against a tough Vikings defense without Golden Tate. They were able to put together some long drives, but couldn't finish with touchdowns. Next week brings another test against the Bears on the road with lower expectations for everyone, including the Lions receivers who have newfound opportunity.
