1. WAS - Trent Williams likely to miss several weeks

Source: ESPN.com - Dan Graziano

Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins OT Trent Williams (thumb) is expected to miss around a month because of his thumb surgery, according to sources.

This is a hit to the Washington offense and may lead to even lower scoring games with their defense peaking.

2. MIN - RB Dalvin Cook to play limited snaps?

Source: Minneapolis Star Tribune - Ben Goessling

Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (hamstring) could return and play limited snaps in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions, sources said Friday, Nov. 2.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cook is still not an advisable play, and Cook fantasy teams should hope the Vikings hold him out through the bye. While Cook could pull a Matt Breida and play more than expected, ruining Latavius Murray's outlook, the matchup is good and Murray has been playing well, so he still deserves RB2 consideration.

3. NE - TE Rob Gronkowski returns to practice

Source: NESN.com - Zack Cox

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle, back) returned to practice Friday, Nov. 2, after sitting out the previous day.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gronkowski should be ok to play Sunday night but his ceiling is very low as he plays through these injuries.

4. TB - Ronald Jones to miss Week 9

Source: Buccaneers.com - Scott Smith

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones (hamstring) will miss the team's Week 9 game with a hamstring injury.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jacquizz Rodgers could get a lot of work in this game if the Bucs fall behind big as expected.

5. LAR - WR Cooper Kupp in line to play Week 9

Source: The Orange County Register - Rich Hammond

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (knee) is ready to play in Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints, head coach Sean McVay said Friday, Nov. 2. Kupp practiced in full and is off the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kupp is a strong play on Sunday, likely playing in the best matchup against the Saints corners now that they have added Eli Apple.

6. SEA - RB Chris Carson questionable for Week 9

Source: Seahawks.com - John Boyle

Seattle Seahawks RB Chris Carson (hip) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 2, and is listed as questionable for Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Carson is expected to play against the Chargers on Sunday, but he's playing in a late game so be sure to have Mike Davis or a hedge ready if the news isn't positive on Sunday morning.

7. LAC - RB Melvin Gordon listed as questionable

Source: NFLCommunications.com

Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 2, but is listed as questionable for Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gordon wants to play and while he is questionable and the team won't commit to him playing, expect him to go against the Seahawks.

8. GB - Week 9 injury report for Green Bay

Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (hamstring, groin) did not practice Friday, Nov. 2 and he is listed as doubtful for Week 9 against the New England Patriots. C Corey Linsley (knee), LB Nick Perry (ankle) and S Jermaine Whitehead (back) were listed as limited partipants, with Linsley removed from the report and Perry and Whitehead considered questionable. CB Jaire Alexander (groin), OT Bryan Bulaga (knee), TE Jimmy Graham (knee), QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) and WR Equanimeous St. Brown (knee) practiced in full and they have all been removed from the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Allison being doubtful is your cue to play Marquez Valdes-Scantling and maybe Randall Cobb with more snaps to go around at wide receiver.

9. NE - RB Sony Michel questionable for SNF

Source: Patriots.com

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel (knee) was limited in practice for a third consecutive day Friday, Nov. 2 and he is considered questionable for Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Michel appears to be on track to play, but we'll check back on Sunday morning to see if the national reporters can give us more information on his status. If he's good to go, treat Michel as an RB2.

10. DET - Week 9 injury report for Week 9

Source: DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin (neck, toe) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 2, and is listed as doubtful for Week 9. DE Ziggy Ansah (shoulder), OG T.J. Lang (hip) and CB Darius Slay (knee) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. OT Taylor Decker (back) and LB Christian Jones (knee) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Lions could use Ansah against the weak Vikings offensive line to put pressure on Kirk Cousins, but he hasn't played since Week 1.

11. DET - RB Theo Riddick on track to play

Source: DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 2, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Riddick should steal some snaps and receptions from Kerryon Johnson, who is still a solid RB2 play, but more prone to game script problems if the Lions fall behind against the Vikings.

12. MIN - Questionable tag for WR Stefon Diggs

Source: Vikings.com

Minnesota Vikings WR Stefon Diggs (rib) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 2, and is listed as questionable for Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Diggs has said he will play and his ceiling is too high to bench as long as he is active, but know that he has had trouble playing through nicks and bumps in the past. The good news is that the Vikings bye is coming up next week.

13. WAS - RB Adrian Peterson ready to roll

Source: Redskins.com

Washington Redskins RB Adrian Peterson (shoulder) practiced in full Friday, Nov. 2 and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 9 game with the Atlanta Falcons.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Peterson is set up for a huge game against a weakened Falcons defense with his elite defense keeping the game low-scoring and close. Treat him as a strong RB2 this week.

14. TEN - WR Corey Davis remains limited

Source: ESPN.com - Turron Davenport

Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 2.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Davis will have a tough matchup against Byron Jones on Monday night and neither he nor Marcus Mariota are playing well enough to trust him this week with this hamstring issue now added to his outlook.

15. CLE - TE David Njoku ready for Week 9

Source: ClevelandBrowns.com

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) went through a full practice session Friday, Nov. 2 and he is off the injury report ahead of the Week 9 game with the Kansas City Chiefs.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Njoku should have a big game against the Chiefs, although he was set up for a nice game last week and came up empty in the box score.

16. CLE - RB Duke Johnson practices in full

Source: ClevelandBrowns.com

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson (thigh) practiced in full for a third straight day Friday, Nov. 2 and he has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 9 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson could have a nice game if the Browns fall behind as expected. He should be on the field a lot in the second half.

17. BAL - RB Alex Collins questionable for Week 9

Source: BaltimoreRavens.com

Baltimore Ravens RB Alex Collins (foot) practiced in full Friday, Nov. 2, but he is listed as questionable for Week 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Collins should be ok against a Steelers defense that has sometimes brought out his best football. He's a boom/bust RB2 play at home.

18. BAL - Week 9 injury report for Baltimore

Source: BaltimoreRavens.com

Baltimore Ravens OL James Hurst (back), OT Ronnie Stanley (ankle) and LB Tim Williams (ankle) did not practice Friday, Nov. 2 and are ruled out for the Week 9 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. CB Jimmy Smith and LB Terrell Suggs did not practice, but it was not injury related and they're off the report. C Bradley Bozeman (calf), CB Marlon Humphrey (thigh), S Tony Jefferson (hamstring), OL Alex Lewis (neck), LB C.J. Mosley (thigh) were each limited in practice and listed as questionable. RB Alex Collins (foot) practiced in full and is questionable, too, while CB Brandon Carr (not injury related) worked in full and is off the report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Ravens offensive line is in bad shape going into this one. Look for the Steelers to test them with lots of blitzes that will limit the downfield passing possibilities.

19. CHI - WR Allen Robinson listed as questionable

Source: ChicagoBears.com

Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson (groin) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 2, and is listed as questionable for Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Robinson is an iffy start, especially with the likelihood of facing Tre'Davious White if he does go on Sunday. Look for the Bears game plan to be conservative with the Bills starting Nathan Peterman.

20. DEN - Questionable tag for RB Royce Freeman

Source: HoustonTexans.com

Denver Broncos RB Royce Freeman (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 2, and is listed as questionable for Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Freeman could play this week but the Broncos would be smart to rest him with a bye up next week since he's nursing a high ankle sprain. Phillip Lindsay is worth playing whether or not Freeman is active.

21. HOU - WR Keke Coutee questionable for Week 9

Source: HoustonTexans.com

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 2, and is listed as questionable for Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Coutee could return this week, although he plays in an afternoon game, so you'll need a hedge if you plan on using him. The Texans could choose to keep him out this week to get the additional week of rest for his problem hamstring next week during the bye.

22. TB - WR Mike Evans ready to play

Source: ESPN.com - Jenna Laine

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 2, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Evans ceiling is much higher with Ryan Fitzpatrick. He'll see a lot of James Bradberry on Sunday and should be treated as a strong WR1.

23. NYJ - De'Angelo Henderson let go

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

New York Jets RB De'Angelo Henderson was released Friday, Nov. 2, according to sources.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is a good sign that Elijah McGuire will be back this week.

24. MIA - WR Kenny Stills listed as questionable

Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (groin) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 2, and is listed as questionable for Week 9.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Stills could be back this week and ruin the DeVante Parker sleeper possibilities. Whoever lines up at receiver for the Dolphins will have a good matchup against the Jets secondary.

25. CAR - WR Torrey Smith to miss 2nd straight game

Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper

Carolina Panthers WR Torrey Smith (knee) will miss Week 9 with a knee injury, head coach Ron Rivera said Friday, Nov. 2.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fire up those DJ Moore shares in redraft and DFS lineups against the woeful Bucs secondary.

26. NYJ - WR Robby Anderson to be game-time decision

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (ankle) drew a questionable designation Friday, Nov. 2, for the Week 9 game against the Miami Dolphins, and head coach Todd Bowles said his final status will be decided in a game-time decision Sunday.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Anderson won't be a safe play his first week back, as he might draw a lot of Xavien Howard if he can get back on the field.

27. WAS - RB Chris Thompson still absent in D.C.

Source: The Washington Post - Kareem Copeland

Washington Redskins RB Chris Thompson (ribs) missed practice Friday, Nov. 2.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thompson won't play this weekend. Kapri Bibbs has some deep sleeper appeal as a pass catching back. The Falcons have struggled to cover running backs this year.

28. ATL - WR Mohamed Sanu back at practice

Source: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution - D. Orlando Ledbetter

Atlanta Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu (hip) returned to practice Friday, Nov. 2.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sanu should be safe to play as a low-end WR3/Flex but the Washington defense on the road matchup limits his upside.

29. BUF - RB LeSean McCoy in the plans

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy is in the team's plans for 2019, according to general manager Brandon Beane. 'We like what he brings, to the point we'll have him back in 2019,' Beane said. 'He'll definitely be a part of that.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This was the obvious conclusion when the team did not trade McCoy at the deadline. He hasn't really lost anything in his age 30 season, but his team isn't supporting any fantasy value in his offense this year.
