Howdy Folks,

Good Saturday to you. We've got some News and Notes so let's get to it.

1. CIN - WR A.J. Green not on injury report

Source: Bengals.com

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (pelvis) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 28, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Green is safe to play and has a high ceiling against a Falcons defense missing both of their starting safeties.

2. SEA - WR Doug Baldwin to return Week 4

Source: ESPN.com - Brady Henderson

Updating a previous report, Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (knee) has 'looked great in practice' this week and been cleared to play in Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Baldwin's return should be a boost to the Seahawks pass offense and Russell Wilson. The Cardinals are unlikely to have Patrick Peterson follow Baldwin in the slot, so this hurts the outlook of Tyler Lockett.

3. JAX - RB Leonard Fournette logs full practice Friday

Source: The Florida Times-Union - Phillip Heilman

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was a full participant in practice Friday, Sept. 28, but is listed as questionable on the injury report for Week 4 against the New York Jets.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The full practice is the best we could have hoped for today. Check back Sunday morning to be sure, but it looks like Fournette can go back into our lineups this week.

4. ARI - Questionable tag for WR Larry Fitzgerald

Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 28, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fitzgerald could benefit from Josh Rosen being installed at quarterback, but he's not 100% and probably should be on your bench this week against the Seahawks.

5. SEA - RB Chris Carson a game-time decision

Source: The Seattle Times - Bob Condotta

Seattle Seahawks RB Chris Carson (hip) will be a game-time decision for the Week 4 game, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Carson has said he plans to play this week.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rashaad Penny could be a Week 4 sleeper if Carson is out. The Seahawks were committed to the run last week and should get a run-friendly game script against the Cardinals this week.

6. SF - RB Matt Breida to be game-time decision

Source: San Francisco Chronicle - Eric Branch

San Francisco 49ers RB Matt Breida (knee) was downgraded from a full participant in practice Friday, Sept. 28, to a limited session and told reporters afterward he will be game-time decision in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Breida is playing a late game, so we can't have the luxury of waiting on him. Alfred Morris isn't 100% either, so Kyle Juszczyk will play a big role on Sunday.

7. PHI - RB Jay Ajayi ready for Week 4

Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles RB Jay Ajayi (back) practiced in full for a second straight day Friday, Sept. 28 and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 4 game with the Tennessee Titans.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ajayi's back injury is a pain management issue and it sounds like that isn't a problem for him. The Eagles run blocking has been terrific this year, especially in the red zone, where Ajayi already has three scores in less than two games. He's an RB2 this week.

8. NE - TE Rob Gronkowski listed as questionable

Source: Patriots.com

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 28, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gronkowski hasn't gotten in a full practice this week and will require checking on Sunday morning. If he can't go the Patriots pass offense will be severely hampered against Miami and Tom Brady might be benchable in fantasy leagues.

9. NE - WR Josh Gordon questionable again

Source: Patriots.com

New England Patriots WR Josh Gordon (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 28, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gordon doesn't seem that much closer to playing than he was last week. Even if he is active this week, it could be a limited amount of snaps with some possible kinks to work out between Gordon and Brady. He's just a bench stash for Week 4.

10. PHI - Week 4 injury report for Philly

Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (shoulder, illness) did not practice Friday, Sept. 28 and is listed as questionable for Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans. S Rodney McLeod (knee) and RB Darren Sproles (hamstring) also did not practice and are ruled out. RB Corey Clement (quadriceps) and LB Nathan Gerry (groin) were limited participants and are considered questionable. RB Jay Ajayi (back) and WR Jordan Matthews (hamstring) practiced in full and were removed from the report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Eagles will probably play it safe with Jeffery, which helps Dallas Goedert's case for Week 4 snaps and targets.

11. TEN - Full practice for QB Marcus Mariota

Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt

Tennessee Titans QB Marcus Mariota (elbow) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 28, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mariota is still only a desperation play in a low voltage Titans passing game facing Philadelphia this week.

12. DET - WR Golden Tate added to injury report

Source: The Detroit News - Justin Rogers

Detroit Lions WR Golden Tate (hip) was added to the injury report for Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys due to a hip ailment and he is listed as questionable.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Tate is a late add, which can be troubling. We'll have to check back Sunday morning to make sure Tate is active. If he can't go, Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones will be must plays against Dallas.

13. PIT - Week 4 injury report for Steelers

Source: Steelers.com - Teresa Varley

Pittsburgh Steelers CB Mike Hilton (elbow) and FS Morgan Burnett (groin) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 28, and are listed as doubtful for Week 4. C Maurkice Pouncey (non-injury), OG David DeCastro (hand), OG Ramon Foster (non-injury) and OT Marcus Gilbert (hamstring) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hilton's absence will make Willie Snead's outlook brighter Sunday night. He has been one of the most underrated playmakers on defense and slot defenders in the NFL.

14. IND - RB Jeremy McNichols added to active roster

Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo

Indianapolis Colts practice squad RB Jeremy McNichols was signed to the 53-man roster Friday, Sept. 28, according to sources. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Colts have employed five different running backs already this year, and Robert Turbin is coming back from a suspension next week. There's no value to be had for McNichols here.

15. CHI - Week 4 injury report for Bears

Source: ESPN.com - Jenna Laine

Chicago Bears WR Anthony Miller (shoulder), CB Prince Amukamara (hamstring) and CB Marcus Cooper (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 28, and have been ruled out for Week 4.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Bears pass rush will be relied on even more with Amukamara on the sidelines against the high-flying Bucs offense.

16. HOU - Houston's Week 4 injury report

Source: ESPN.com - Sarah Barshop

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins (thumb, ankle, hamstring), CB Kayvon Webster (Achilles') and CB Shareece Wright (shoulder) were limited in practice Friday, Sept. 28, and are listed as questionable for Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts. OT Martinas Rankin (ankle) and DE J.J. Watt (thigh) fully participated in practice Friday and were taken off the injury report. WR Sammie Coates (hamstring), WR Keke Coutee (hamstring), WR Will Fuller (hamstring) and OG Senio Kelemete (knee) were limited in practice Friday but also no longer appear on the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hopkins should play and play at his normal level, but check back Sunday morning just to be safe. Coutee was a camp sensation before getting hurt and will make his 2018 debut Sunday with Bruce Ellington on injured reserve.

17. TB - Tampa's Week 4 injury report

Source: ESPN.com - Jenna Laine

Tampa Bay Buccaneers DT Beau Allen (foot) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 28, and has been ruled out for Week 4. CB Carlton Davis (groin) and S Jordan Whitehead (hamstring, shoulder) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. DT Vita Vea (calf) and CB Marcus Williams (hamstring) fully participated in practice but are listed as questionable. OT Demar Dotson (knee), DT Gerald McCoy (biceps) and S Isaiah Johnson (shoulder) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Bucs are playing a lot of backups in the secondary already, and now those backups are getting hurt. Mitchell Trubisky and the Bears passing game has been toothless this year, but they'll have a good matchup Sunday.

18. IND - Week 4 injury report for Indianapolis

Source: Colts.com

Indianapolis Colts OL Joe Haeg (ankle), DT Hassan Ridgeway (calf) and CB Quincy Wilson (concussion) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 4 versus the Houston Texans. OT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) was limited in practice for a second straight day Friday, Sept. 28, but has also been ruled out. S Clayton Geathers (knee) did not practice Friday after getting in a full practice on Thursday, Sept. 27, and is listed as questionable. RB Marlon Mack (hamstring) and LB Anthony Walker (groin) were limited in practice Friday and are also listed as questionable. DE Tarell Basham (non-injury), TE Eric Ebron (shoulder, knee), S Malik Hooker (hamstring), QB Andrew Luck (groin) and DT Al Woods (quad) practiced in full Friday and are no longer listed on the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Colts will be without both starting tackles against Houston. Andrew Luck's passing game is not just limited by a possible issue throwing the deep ball.

19. CIN - TE Tyler Eifert fully practices

Source: Bengals.com

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (back) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 28, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Eifert is back to being a TE1 and his value is trending up. The Falcons are missing both starting safeties and their starting middle linebacker.

20. LAC - WR Keenan Allen back at practice

Source: ESPN.com - Eric D. Williams

Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen (knee) returned to practice Friday, Sept. 28, after missing the previous two days with a knee injury.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

There's no reason to think Allen won't play his full complement of snaps and be at his typical level of effectiveness, but check back on Sunday morning before finalizing your lineup.

21. PHI - RB Corey Clement questionable for Week 4

Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan

Philadelphia Eagles RB Corey Clement (quadriceps) was listed as questionable Friday, Sept. 28, for the Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jay Ajayi is healthier and should be played over Clement this week.

22. ATL - RB Devonta Freeman to sit out Week 4

Source: AtlantaFalcons.com - Kelsey Conway

Atlanta Falcons RB Devonta Freeman (knee) has been ruled out for Week 4 versus the Cincinnati Bengals.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Tevin Coleman gets the start this week and should bounce back against the Bengals defense that just allowed a career-high rushing game to Christian McCaffrey.

23. BUF - RB LeSean McCoy gets questionable designation

Source: ESPN.com - Mike Rodak

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (ribs) is listed as questionable for Week 4 after putting in a third straight limited practice Friday, Sept. 28. When asked Friday if McCoy will play, head coach Sean McDermott said, 'we'll see.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCoy is only a flex play at Green Bay if he does play. Buffalo's offense came to life last week, but were often set up by short fields created by turnovers.

24. IND - TE Jack Doyle to miss second straight game

Source: The Indianapolis Star - Zak Keefer

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (hip) has been ruled out for Week 4 against the Houston Texans.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Eric Ebron should get extra targets this week, but last week he wasn't able to do much with against Philadelphia. He's a low TE1 against Houston.

25. BAL - TE Hayden Hurst getting close to return

Source: The Athletic - Jeff Zrebiec

Baltimore Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (foot) has practiced well this week according to head coach John Harbaugh, although Harbaugh said 'it's a medical decision' in regards to whether or not Hurst will make his NFL debut in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Ravens already have three viable receiving tight ends, so they don't have to rush Hurst back. It's time to pre-emptively add him in deep TE premium and 2 TE leagues.

26. NYG - TE Evan Engram to sit out Week 4

Source: NFL Network - Kimberly Jones

New York Giants TE Evan Engram (knee) on Friday, Sept. 28, was ruled out of the team's Week 4 game against the New Orleans Saints.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Engram will likely have a multi-week absence. Rhett Ellison is an option for teams looking to replace Jordan Reed from the waiver wire after he had a touchdown and three catches for 39 yards in relief of Engram last week.

27. CIN - RB Giovani Bernard practices in full

Source: Bengals.com - Geoff Hobson

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard (thigh) was a full participant in practice Friday, Sept. 28, after being limited the previous two days.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bernard is good to go against a Falcons defense that hasn't been able to stay with running backs as receivers the last two weeks. He's an RB1 in PPR leagues and still a strong play in nonPPR.

28. GB - WR Randall Cobb iffy for Week 4

Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky

Updating previous reports, Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb (hamstring) injured his hamstring in practice Thursday, Sept. 27, and isn't a lock to play in Week 4.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rookies Equanimeous St. Brown and Marquez Valdes-Scantling played in the slot some, and Ty Montgomery has an overlap in skills with Cobb. The Packers might not miss Cobb if he doesn't play as he was the source of numerous mistakes last week. Cobb has tended to be a player who has diminished impact when he's hurt, so it's a good idea to put him on the bench this week.
