F. Value Plays: Wide Receivers
Fantasy Football boils down to finding the undervalued players in your draft while avoiding the overvalued guys. One of the most powerful features we do each summer is poll our Footballguys Staffers to get their opinion on Undervalued, Overvalued and Deep Sleeper players. We then tally up the results to see where we have consensus. It's one of the best things we do. We did this yesterday with RBs. In this one, we dive into WRs who are undervalued.

G. Overvalued Players: Wide Receivers

I. Scott Fish Bowl VII Diary
Our Justin Howe with snapshots from the late rounds of our staff's Scott Fish Bowl VII discussion.

1. BAL - Joe Flacco impressed with RB Danny Woodhead

Source: - Jamison Hensley

Baltimore Ravens RB Danny Woodhead has impressed his new teammates thus far -- specifically QB Joe Flacco -- not just with what he can do after making a reception, but also before making the catch. 'Really, ever since we lost Ray Rice, we haven't had a type of back that's quite like how Ray was and quite like how Danny is in the passing game,' Flacco said. 'They just have a very good feel for when they're open and how to get open, how to sit in holes, how to find my eyes, and you can already see that. You can see he has a really good feel for those kinds of things. If you remember back, obviously, Ray was really good at doing that, and that gives a lot to your offense for sure.'

Woodhead has carved out a niche in the NFL and should fit into the offense very well. We're not shocked he is impressing his teammates, as Woodhead has always been a hard worker. He appears to be fully head from last September's ACL injury so, that's a bonus. Expect a big start to the season for Woodhead, as Kenneth Dixon is suspended for the first four games of the year and Woodhead will be his replacement. That might tail off once Dixon returns, especially with a 32-year old back like Woodhead. Right now Woodhead has an ADP of 85 overall and is the 34th running back off the board in early drafts.

2. PIT - Le'Veon Bell looking to be paid like RB, WR

Source: NFL Network - Ike Taylor

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell said he is looking for a deal that will pay him like a No. 1 running back plus a No. 2 wide receiver, according to NFL Network analyst Ike Taylor.

Aim high. Before he gets that money - and it's a big ask, so he might not - he needs to be on the field for 16 games. Health and off-field issues have hurt that cause the last two years but this is his chance to prove he can be relied upon. With no suspension in the offing and his health good, we expect a big year for Bell and if the eventual payday isn't quite as grand as he hopes, it will still put him in the upper echelon of players. The NFL may not put a premium on running backs anymore, but Bell is a special back.

3. ARI - QB Carson Palmer threw too much last offseason

Source: NFL Network

Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer wore his arm out from throwing too much last offseason, according to head coach Bruce Arians. Arians said they've found a good routine for Palmer.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The guy is 400 years old in football years, so making sure he doesn't overdo it is a good idea for a team with - at minimum - playoff aspirations. Without Palmer, the Cardinals have serious problems at quarterback so no Palmer probably equals no playoff success. While we think a healthy Palmer with a healthy receiving corps could make for a solid QB2, his ADP is showing that Fantasy GMs are skittish. Right now it hovers at 135 overall and Palmer is the 20th quarterback off the board making him a potential value at the moment.

4. GB - Jamaal Williams will be No. 2 back

Source: Wisconsin State Journal - Jason Wilde

Green Bay Packers rookie RB Jamaal Williams will begin training camp as the No. 2 running back behind RB Ty Montgomery, according to running backs coach Ben Sirmans.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

If Montgomery is injured, Williams could be a big time earner. He's got great vision, moves the pile and runs bigger than his size. He needs to prove himself in pass protection, but we like his upside. For redraft, he's going as the 52nd running back off the board in early drafts and that sounds about right. He has ability, but so does Montgomery. For dynasty purposes, we think he should get moved up some draft boards by GMs looking to snag a low-cost player with high-upside.

5. NYJ - Deon Simon on the verge

Source: NJ Advance Media - Connor Hughes

New York Jets DT Deon Simon is on the verge of breaking out, according to NJ Advance Media's Connor Hughes.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A 2015 pick, Simon didn't do anything his rookie season, but showed signs in 2016. He fits well in the 3-4 scheme the Jets often use and the Jets are desperate to replace Damon Harrison at nose tackle after he departed for the Giants in 2016.

6. NYJ - DE Sheldon Richardson still on the block

Source: NJ Advance Media - Connor Hughes

New York Jets DE Sheldon Richardson is still available for trade, but it's unlikely the team cuts him.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

They won't cough him up for free and will try to move him right up until the trade deadline. Right now, considering his attitude and lack of impact in 2016. The Jets may not find a partner until he proves both issues are in the past. Of course, the Jets are unlikely to extend his contract in any event so teams might wait for the offseason.
