1. IND - WR Phillip Dorsett's role unclear

Source: NFL.com - Conor Orr

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett's role for 2016 is vague heading into training camp. NFL.com's Conor Orr posited that Dorsett could be used similarly to Los Angeles Rams WR Tavon Austin.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We're not sure about using him like Austin as Dorsett is more of a deep threat with the speed to take the top off the defense. The Colts passing game should be performing at peak levels with QB Andrew Luck back from an injury-shortened 2015. Dorsett had a broken ankle that slowed his development as a rookie last year. This season, the Colts are looking for a third WR behind T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief. Dorsett could catch around 50 passes and put up WR5-like numbers in 2016. His current ADP is WR62 (13.10) in 12-team PPR leagues.

2. SEA - QB Michael Vick an option for Seattle?

Source: ESPN.com - Sheil Kapadia

Free-agent QB Michael Vick (Steelers) could be a pickup candidate for the Seattle Seahawks, according to ESPN analyst, Phil Savage. Savage said Vick would fit the Seahawks with his mobility, what he brings to the table and with a veteran presence behind QB Russell Wilson.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We could see that happening as the Seahawks aren't likely to bring back Tarvaris Jackson and currently have undrafted rookie Trevone Boykin as the second-string QB behind Wilson. Vick was with the Steelers last year where he appeared in five games, completing 60.6 percent of his passes for 371 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. At age 36, Vick still wants to play but would only be a veteran backup no matter where he lands.

3. BUF - WR Marquise Goodwin feeling tired

Source: NewYorkUpstate.com - Zac Neel

Buffalo Bills WR Marquise Goodwin said his body is banged up from trying out for the Olympics. Goodwin said he is going to get lots of rest before commencing football activities.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Goodwin is an Olympic athlete with crazy speed, but that has yet to translate to the football field in the pros. The Bills aren't going to fill the air with footballs in 2016, and Goodwin is no lock to make the 53-man roster. A third-round pick for the Bills in 2013, Goodwin only has 20 catches in his three-year career. Last year, a ribs injury limited the speedy receiver to only two games. Even fantasy owners in super deep dynasty leagues aren't coveting Goodwin as a prospect.

4. HOU - Braxton Miller may have multiple roles

Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson

Houston Texans WR Braxton Miller may be used in a variety of ways during the 2016 NFL season. He should line up at different spots in the offense and could also be used as a kick returner. Miller could also line up in the Wildcat formation since he was a quarterback in college.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We love the addition of Miller for the Texans. In fact, they might have had the best draft of any team in the NFL. Miller was impressive in limited duty in his one year as a WR for Ohio State. The converted QB has crazy athleticism, tremendous confidence and the ability to make any defender miss in the open field. He was targeted 40 times last year, caught 26 passes for 341 yards and three TDs. Those numbers don't look like much until you consider this is just the tip of the iceberg with Miller. Re-draft owners need to keep him on waiver-wire speed dial. Dynasty owners should add him and be excited about his developmental upside.

5. ARI - QB Drew Stanton may be Cards future starter

Source: FOXSports.com - Alex Marvez

Arizona Cardinals QB Drew Stanton said he has talked with the Cardinals about the possibility of being the starting quarterback once QB Carson Palmer retires. Stanton said that was a factor in him re-signing with Arizona.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Stanton used to be an interesting player in dynasty formats, but after years of biding his time as a backup any thought of him being a starter seems like folly. The last time Stanton was the starter (for the Cardinals in 2014 after Carson Palmer was knocked out for the year) he only completed 55 percent of his passes and ended the season hurt as well. We like him in "All or Nothing" on Amazon Prime, but that's about as excited as we're getting on Stanton at this point in his pro career.

6. NO - RB Mark Ingram the go-to back when healthy

Source: The New Orleans Advocate - Joel A. Erickson

New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram was on the field for 62.6% of the offensive snaps, the highest percentage of any running back on the roster, in the games he played in last year.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy owners should be drooling over Ingram's prospects once again this year. Ingram had the 3rd-highest yards-after-contact-per-rush average of 2.27 yards behind only Thomas Rawls (2.68) and Carlos Hyde (2.30). The Saints power rusher should dominate on the ground once again where he can wear down opponents. He's proven when it's time to move the chains, and his first-down-per-rush percentage of 26.5 ranked fourth in the NFL (league average is 20.8 percent). His current ADP is RB10 (3.01) in 12-team PPR leagues.

7. TEN - No concerns for Derrick Henry's workload

Source: The Tennessean - John Glennon

Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry's heavy workload in college was never a concern, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Henry's 395 carries in 2015 were the most in the FBS, and so were his 2,219 yards rushing. Over the last two years, Henry has toted the rock over 567 times and that's close to Cowboys first-round pick Ezekiel Elliott (562) and Broncos fourth-round pick Devontae Booker (560) yet there isn't the same talk about 'overuse' for those two RBs. In fact, we're excited about Elliott this year and Booker in the future. Henry is going to be used in a RBBC with DeMarco Murray and that should help keep the rookie fresh...and keep opponents worn out.

8. NYJ - DT Steve McLendon playing multiple spots

Source: NJ.com - Darryl Slater

New York Jets DT Steve McLendon was used at multiple positions along the defensive line, including nose tackle, during spring practices, and he said he uses his quickness to play various roles.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

After six seasons with the Steelers, McLendon joined the Jets this offseason as a free agent. Like former nose tackle Damon Harrison (Giants), McLendon can be counted on as an effective run-stuffer--plus he can be moved all across the defensive line. The Jets have one of the best defensive lines in the league...so long as franchise-tagged Muhammad Wilkerson is on board in 2016.
