TB - Sign RB Peyton Hillis

Source: SportsTalkFlorida.com - Jenna Laine

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed RB Peyton Hillis to a one-year deal Tuesday, July 23. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hillis has done little since he was on the cover of Madden '12. The veteran can play both fullback and tailback. He's an underrated receiver out of the backfield and gives the Bucs better veteran depth. Hillis will compete with Michael Smith, rookie Mike James, and fullback Brian Leonard to be the primary backup behind Doug Martin.

TB - CB Darrelle Revis medically cleared

Source: NFL.com - Gregg Rosenthal

Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Darrelle Revis (knee) has been cleared by team doctors for action in training camp. He will be held out of a conditioning test Wednesday, July 24, because he hasn't trained for it.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Great news for the Bucs here. They payed a steep price to help improve their pass defense this year. Revis should do individual drills but may not get much team drill work until we get closer to the regular season.

IND - RB Ahmad Bradshaw opening on PUP

Source: KFFL.com

The Indianapolis Colts placed RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) on the Physically Unable to Perform list for training camp Tuesday, July 23.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bradshaw can be activated from this list at any time. The team will be careful with him and monitor his progress and he continues with this foot problem. Bradshaw is likely to begin the season as the starter if healthy.

PHI - Will name a starter by week prior to opener

Source: Philadelphia Inquirer - Zach Berman

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said the team will name a starter by the week prior to Week 1, so there will not be a quarterback competition as the team prepares for their Week 1 game against the Washington Redskins.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This QB competition is going to last throughout preseason and training camp. We'll get clarity as we get further in the preseason. Usually week three of the preseason is a "dress rehearsal" for the regular season. Some feel Nick Foles has the edge over Michael Vick at this time.

PHI - QB Michael Vick wanted to play for Chip Kelly

Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick said the reason he returned to the team is to play for head coach Chip Kelly. “I came back to play for Coach Kelly,” Vick said. “That was it.” Vick did not specify if he was told about a QB competition.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kelly runs one of the more exciting offenses in all of football. Vick makes for a nice fit when running the inside/outside zone read option because of his elite athleticism. He's competing with second-year QB Nick Foles to be the Eagles' starter in 2013.

PHI - Will rotate QBs in camp

Source: The Delaware County Times

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said the team will rotate quarterbacks in training camp until a starting QB emerges.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Some have speculated Nick Foles has an edge in the competition at this time. We'll see this competition play out in camp and should have a better idea around week three of the preseason.

JAX - RB Maurice Jones-Drew cleared

Source: NFL.com - Marc Sessler

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said RB Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) has been medically cleared to return for training camp. Bradley said the team will be smart with how they use Jones-Drew in camp, with the hope that he will stay fresh.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for Jones-Drew here. He's just eight months removed from Lis Franc surgery and entering a contract season. The team will ease him back in slowly but he should be ready for a full workload by week one barring any setbacks.

WAS - Robert Griffin unlikely for preseason games

Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

While Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (knee) has been medically cleared for training camp, but sources familiar with head coach Mike Shanahan's thinking expressed pessimism Griffin would return during preseason games. One anonymous front office member said the team will not want to subject Griffin to any hits this summer.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No real surprise here. The team wants Griffin to be ready for the start of the regular season. He'll be limited in training camp and we'd be shocked if we saw much from him in the preseason.

NE - TE Jake Ballard may not make team

Source: The Boston Globe - Ben Volin

New England Patriots TE Jake Ballard (knee) has looked stiff and lacking fluidity in camp, and he's not a lock to make the team.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

An important note for fantasy owners here. Ballard is coming back from the knee injury that cost him the entire 2012 season and is no lock for the final roster. Some expected Ballard to step right into the role vacated by Aaron Hernandez. That's simply not the case. The Patriots TE situation is very much unclear right now.

HOU - Don't want to overwork RB Arian Foster

Source: Houston Chronicle - John McClain

The Houston Texans want RB Ben Tate to stay healthy so he can spell RB Arian Foster. The team doesn't want Foster to set another career high in carries after he had 351 last season. Tate is in a contract year.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We could see the team mix in more of Tate this season. He's a quality backup RB who could start for many teams across the league. Tate is a must handcuff player for all Foster owners. His current ADP is RB36 and he's coming off the board at 7.11 in 12 team PPR leagues.

DEN - OLB Von Miller's case not related to steroids

Source: NFLPlayers.com - George Atallah

Updating a previous report, assistant executive director of external affairs at the NFLPA George Atallah confirmed Monday, July 22, that Denver Broncos LB Von Miller's case does not involve the Steroids and Related Substances Policy.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rumors have surfaced about this suspension being linked to recreational drugs. The Denver Post reports Miller's four-game suspension is for testing positive for amphetamines and marijuana during his rookie season in 2011. Miller is appealing the suspension but the Broncos should prepare to be without their All-Pro pass rusher for the first month of the season.

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski officially placed on PUP list

Source: Scout.com - Aaron Wilson

As expected, the New England Patriots placed TE Rob Gronkowski (forearm, back) on the Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) list Monday, July 22. Gronkowski continues to recover from back surgery.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No surprise here. Gronkowski's availability for the beginning of the season is in question at this time. The Patriots will monitor him closely as he continues to recover from his back surgery. We'll have a better idea about his availability when we get closer to the start of the regular season.

OAK - Sign QB Tyler Wilson

Source: ESPN.com

The Oakland Raiders signed QB Tyler Wilson Tuesday, July 23. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wilson was a favorite of both Cecil Lammey and Matt Waldman during the pre-draft process. He's known for his toughness and ability to fit passes into tight windows. Wilson is a confident gunslinger who is not afraid to stand in the pocket and take a hit. He does need to work on his mechanics and footwork as a passer. That should help clean up his accuracy. If Matt Flynn struggles in camp or during the year then perhaps we could see Wilson take over as the starter for the Raiders.

NE - QB Tom Brady talks about his future

Source: SI.com - Peter King

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady said he wants to play into his 40’s, after previous talking about retiring when he turned 40. The way I feel now, it’s beyond 40,” Brady said. “I have a lot of goals, and I am in this for the long haul. I don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. Whether the team wants me, or whether something [like an injury] happens tomorrow to stop me from playing, that remains to be seen. But my training, my nutrition, the bodywork I do—I can’t see not playing at any time in the near future. There’s nothing I love to do more. Whether the New England Patriots want me, or anyone wants me, I know I want to play for quite a while.”

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We're certain New England fans want Tom Brady around as long as humanly possible. Brady will turn 36 during training camp (August 3rd) and could easily play until he was 40. QBs don't take huge hits like they used to and thus it is extending their career arc.

NE - QB Tom Brady talks TE Aaron Hernandez

Source: SI.com - Peter King

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady talked about losing free-agent TE Aaron Hernandez and what it means for the team in 2013. “I’ve seen a lot of things over 13 years, and what I have learned is that mental toughness and putting aside personal agendas for what’s in the best interest of the team matters most,” Brady said. “My job is to play quarterback, and I’m going to do that the best way I know how, because I owe that to my teammates regardless of who is out there on the field with me. I have moved on. I’m focusing on the great teammates I have who are committed to helping us win games. The only thing I care about is winning. Nothing is going to ever get in the way of that goal. I’m just excited to report to camp and see what we can accomplish as a team. The fate of our season will be determined by the players in our locker room—nothing else.”

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's time to move on and focus on the upcoming season. We're not surprised by Brady's attitude here. The Patriots are all business and have to look now at constructing an offense that may be less reliant on the TE position. We could see them run the ball more or emphasize the WR corps. Hernandez is gone and Rob Gronkowski (back, forearm) may not be ready to start the regular season.

MIN - WR Greg Jennings likes structure with new team

Source: Minneapolis Star Tribune - Dan Wiederer

Minnesota Vikings WR Greg Jennings compared his new team to his old team, the Green Bay Packers, and said he's comfortable with his new surroundings and new structure. 'It's not a free-for-all. There's structure,' Jennings said. 'But there's liberty. You can breathe. It's like, 'OK, I can do my thing.' You know what you need to do, you get it done. Whereas (in Green Bay), everything was more cookie-cutter. ... It's just different. In a good way. And not knocking what we did there. Because obviously it was successful. But here, no one's walking on egg shells.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jennings should become a favorite target of QB Christian Ponder. It's a make or break season for the third-year QB and he may have a short hook this year. If Ponder struggles the team could turn to Matt Cassel to lead the team.

SF - WR Michael Crabtree doing great

Source: ESPN.com

San Francisco 49ers WR Michael Crabtree (Achilles') is looking great in his recovery from surgery on his right Achilles', according to head coach Jim Harbaugh. The team isn't ruling out a return for Crabtree this season. 'I wouldn't categorize it as 'ahead of schedule' because he is just starting to move on it,' Harbaugh said. 'It's just been healing but it looks great. That's from the words of the doctors, so, again, optimistic there.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantastic news for the 49ers here. Crabtree is trying to make a comeback where he can get on the field near the end of this year. The 49ers are intent on making a deep postseason run in 2013 and getting Crabtree back (even if he's not a full strength) would boost their chances.

KC - TE Tony Moeaki ready to practice

Source: KFFL.com

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Monday, July 22, that TE Tony Moeaki (knee) has reported to training camp. Reid confirmed that Moeaki has passed his physical and is available to practice.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Moeaki is a talented move TE but his injury history reads like War & Peace. He's constantly banged up and it's prevented him from playing up to his potential as a pro. Moeaki is competing with rookie TE Travis Kelce to be the team's starter in 2013.

CHI - QB Jay Cutler still has much to prove

Source: Chicago Tribune - Dan Pompei

Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler likely needs to show more consistency from start to finish, and work well with the new coaching staff and within the new parameters of the new offense to receive a new contract from the team. Cutler feels he is worthy of being paid like one of the best quarterbacks in the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cutler is going to have better protection this year. The Bears have made several moves to upgrade their O-Line this offseason. New head coach Marc Trestman is also installing a Cutler-friendly offense that will allow him to get rid of the ball quickly. The team also added another weapon to the passing game when they picked up TE Martellus Bennett in free agency. Cutler could outperform his ADP of QB17 if he stays healthy and plays up to his potential in 2013.

GB - Triple figures for WR Randall Cobb?

Source: Scout.com - Bill Huber

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said WR Randall Cobb could catch 100 passes in 2013. Cobb set a franchise record with a league-high 2,342 all-purpose yards, and he led the team with 80 receptions for 954 yards.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We could see Cobb hitting the century mark this year. He's simply too dangerous and needs to be featured as much as possible. Cobb's current ADP is WR8 and he's coming off the board at 3.07 in 12 team PPR leagues.

NYJ - Have high hopes for RB Chris Ivory

Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

The New York Jets enter the season without a 1,000-yard rusher on the roster for the first time since 1994. RBs Chris Ivory, Mike Goodson and Bilal Powell will battle or playing time. The team feels Ivory could be a Top 10 back if he is able to stay healthy.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ivory is a swift back who reminds some in the scouting community of Marshawn Lynch (Seahawks). He can get to top speed in a hurry and wins collisions with his size and leg drive. Ivory battled a variety of injuries during his time with the Saints. If he stays healthy with the Jets he could get the workload to be a RB2 with upside in 2013.

NE - WR Laurent Robinson leaves without deal

Source: The Boston Globe - Ben Volin

Free-agent WR Laurent Robinson (Jaguars) left his visit with the New England Patriots Tuesday, July 23, without a deal. However, he will be back in touch after his workout Wednesday, July 24, with the Detroit Lions.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Patriots may just be updating their emergency list here. Robinson had four concussions last year while playing for the Jaguars and durability problems cloud his pro future.

JAX - Gus Bradley says QB competition is open

Source: The Florida Times-Union - Ryan O'Halloran

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley reiterated Tuesday, July 23, that the quarterback competition between QBs Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne is 'open', and he would not reveal a timetable on when he will name a starter or who will even start the first preseason game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Henne looked better when he took over for Gabbert last year. It's certainly a make or break year for Gabbert in 2013. The 2011 first-round pick has failed to play up to his draft stock and has reportedly been struggling this offseason.

NYJ - Sign PK Billy Cundiff

Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

The New York Jets signed PK Billy Cundiff (49ers) Tuesday, July 23. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. In a corresponding move, the team waived PK Brett Maher.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cundiff will push Nick Folk for the starting job. He spent time with both the Redskins and the 49ers last year.

JAX - WR Justin Blackmon starts camp on PUP

Source: Scout.com - Aaron Wilson

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon (groin) has been placed on the Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) list to start training camp.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Blackmon will be eased into the lineup when he's ready. He had groin surgery earlier this offseason and there's no need to rush him back. Blackmon is not eligible to play until week five due to a four-game suspension he received for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

PHI - TE Brent Celek considered blocking TE

Source: Philadelphia Inquirer - Zach Berman

Philadelphia Eagles TE Brent Celek is considered a blocking tight end in the new offensive system installed by head coach Chip Kelly, while FB/TE James Casey and TE Zach Ertz are considered primarily receivers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

An important note for fantasy owners here. If Nick Foles wins the QB job then we'll see the team use more two TE sets. Ertz is a natural receiver with soft hands who does an excellent job of making contested catches. Casey came over from the Texans in free agency and has yet to play up to his enormous athletic potential.

SEA - RB Robert Turbin expected to be third-down guy

Source: The Tacoma News Tribune - Eric D. Williams

Seattle Seahawks RB Robert Turbin is expected to take over the third-down back job for the departed RB Leon Washington (Patriots). Turbin reportedly was impressive during offseason workouts.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Turbin flashed as a backup behind Marshawn Lynch last year. He's an intent runner who can run through arm tackles with ease. Should Lynch go down then Turbin would likely be the back to take over. However, the Seahawks have an equally gifted runner in rookie Christine Michael. Seattle could use a RBBC featuring both backs if Lynch is out with an injury.

STL - WR Tavon Austin worked with QB in Oklahoma

Source: KFFL.com

St. Louis Rams WR Tavon Austin attended the football camp of QB Sam Bradford in Oklahoma during the offseason. 'They went well. He made us do a two-a-day. I wasn't used to this back in college, but we did a two-a-day,' Austin said. 'I was only there for two days. I had to go back home. But for the most part, everything went well, and we got some good work in.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Nothing but good news here. Austin is one of the most electrifying rookie WRs to enter the league. We should see him be a focal point of the offense early on in 2013.

CHI - Kyle Long viewed more as guard

Source: Chicago Tribune - Dan Pompei

Chicago Bears OG Kyle Long was drafted to play guard, and the team clearly believes he has more potential at that position than tackle. His arm length is likely the reason for such thinking. Long could see time at tackle sometime down the road, but guard is where he'll spend a majority of his time.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Long makes for an interesting fit at Guard. He's tall (6'6") and sometimes gets too high when setting up in pass protection. This causes him to lose leverage in one-on-one situations. Long does have a tremendous work ethic and should become an instant favorite of the coaching staff.

CHI - Three locks at WR, open after that

Source: Chicago Tribune - Dan Pompei

Chicago Bears WRs Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery and Earl Bennett are locks for the 53-man roster, but after that it is wide open. WRs Joe Anderson and Eric Weems might lock up a fourth receiver job, and could be battling each other since they are each solid on special teams. WR Devin Aromashodu is in the mix for a job, and then there is seventh-round pick Marquess Wilson and WR Devin Hester, who is more known for his prowess as a return man. The team is likely to keep five receivers plus Hester.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We like Wilson in this competition for the final spot on the depth chart. Wilson is a dangerous playmaker downfield who has excellent body control. He's got the size (6'2") to be a factor in the red zone as well. Problems with the coaching staff at Washington State caused him to quit the team in 2012. This made his stock tumble to the seventh-round of the 2013 NFL draft.

TB - TE Visanthe Shiancoe to work out

Source: The Baltimore Sun - Aaron Wilson

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will work out free-agent TE Visanthe Shiancoe (Patriots) Tuesday, July 23.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Buccaneers are looking for TE help as they have unproven Luke Stocker sitting at the top of their depth chart. Stocker has struggled with drops and only has 28 career receptions in two professional seasons.

DAL - WR Terrance Williams struggling

Source: The Dallas Morning News - Brandon George

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams has struggled in the first two days of practices. He dropped a pass in the open field after getting free from CB Morris Claiborne.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Williams is far from a finished product. He ran a limited route tree in college at Baylor and needs to hone his route running ability. Williams has the flexibility to make tough catches but would sometimes lose focus if he wasn't getting targets. He needs to eliminate mental errors if he wants to play up to his potential as a pro. Williams is competing with Dwayne Harris to be the team's WR3 behind Dez Bryant and Miles Austin.

GB - Need WR Jordy Nelson to return to 2011 form

Source: Scout.com - Bill Huber

Green Bay Packers WR Jordy Nelson (hamstring) was limited to 12 games in 2012 due to hamstring injuries. When he was on the field, Nelson saw his numbers dip to 15.2 yards per catch from 18.6 yards per grab in 2012. He also had just two drops out of 93 targeted passes in 2011, but he had eight drops on 71 targets in 2012.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

If Nelson is healthy we could see him have a bounce back year. In 2011 Nelson was the second best WR in fantasy football, largely due to his 15 receiving TDs. We don't think he'll duplicate that number this season but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him catch around nine TDs in 2013. Nelson's current ADP is WR14 and he's coming off the board at 4.10 in 12 team PPR leagues.

NYJ - WR Santonio Holmes expected to begin on PUP

Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes (foot) is expected to begin training camp on the Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) list. He could be activated at any time, but it might be weeks before he is cleared to practice.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Holmes may not even be ready for the start of the regular season. He's coming back from a Grade 4 (the most severe) Lis Franc injury. Fantasy owners considering Holmes should look to add him as a lottery ticket pick in the late rounds of fantasy drafts.

STL - TE Lance Kendricks begins on PUP

Source: St. Louis Post-Dispatch - Joe Lyons

St. Louis Rams TE Lance Kendricks (knee) was placed on the Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) list Monday, July 22. He missed the team's organized team activities (OTAs) this spring after having his knee scoped during the offseason.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kendricks is fighting for a reserve role behind starter Jared Cook. He doesn't have much competition for that spot and should be able to be the team's TE2 so long as he stays healthy.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Getting Webb back is a huge boost for the Ravens. He missed out on the Ravens' playoff run last year due to this knee injury. If healthy he should be a quality starter once again.

BUF - DE Jerry Hughes could start

Source: NFL.com - Gregg Rosenthal

Buffalo Bills DE Jerry Hughes could start in 2013 after the team released DE Mark Anderson.

Hughes gets a bump here. Originally the team's plan was to try him out at both strong side linebacker and rush end as a subpackage player. Hughes only has five sacks during his three year career. Babin can be a reliable pass rusher if healthy. He's slated to play the "Leo" in Gus Bradley's system. That gives him plenty of IDP value as a DE2.

BAL - Pleased with DT Haloti Ngata

Source: The Baltimore Sun - Jeff Zrebiec

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is pleased with the conditioning of DT Haloti Ngata (knee) heading into training camp. 'Yeah, Haloti came in in great shape. He's looking great. He blew away the conditioning test. He's ready to go,' Harbaugh said.

He's in better shape and finally recovered from the knee injury he suffered in the Super Bowl. Ngata is scary and scary good. He's a mauler in the middle of the line who can eat up double teams and get interior pressure on the QB. We're looking forward to him wreaking havoc once again in 2013.
