B. Footballguys Draft GM - Version 1.1 Ready - Get Ready To Mock
The response to the Draft GM has been outstanding and we've been hard at work with some tweaks to make it even better.

One of the coolest features about the new Draft GM is the ability to Mock Draft. While it's the tool you need to run your actual draft, it's fantastic for mock drafting where you go against the artificial intelligence of the app. It's a great way to try different strategies and see what kind of team you end up with. It would be worth the price just for how much fun it is to mock with this.
What's New in Version 1.1

- Position counting, per team and overall on rosters screen
- Variable mock draft AI delay in settings
- Global watch list
- Player search on player database
- Keeper bug fixed
- Cancel updating data option
- PPR/TDs Only scoring is retained on switching to advanced scoring
- IDP VBD adjustments
- Sliders for modifying team AI and projection set balances have numbers changing as the sliders are adapted
- Division by zero yardage scoring causing NaN in VBD bug fixed

Various other minor tweaks and issues fixed.

It's the mobile draft tool you need to Dominate Your Draft.

C. Coming Soon - Footballguys Magazine DraftKit App
Just a headsup to let you know we've got another even bigger app coming soon for you. The Footballguys Magazine Draftkit for 2013 will be the killer mobile app for Fantasy Sports. It'll include our Draft GM app that we've been talking about plus magazine style content. It's available just for tablets that have a 7" diagonal and larger screen. Meaning it'll work with tablets like the iPad Mini and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. We'll have more info soon but just wanted to throw that out. Trust me, we'll keep you updated.

D. Dominate Your League With A Footballguys Insider Subscription
We hope these Daily Email Updates are helpful. But they're just the tip of the iceberg for what we offer at Footballguys. Most of the content on the site is still free for another couple of weeks but after that, it'll only be available to our Footballguys Inisder Subscribers. Here are Thirteen Reasons To Susbcribe.

For me though, the proof is in the results. I received this email Monday from Footballguys Insider Subscriber Paul Ricci:

"Do you guys need any more testimonials?

For 9 years I was an average at best fantasy football player.

With your website I dominated my league last year. Three of my current players are in the top 10 of most APD lists.

You guys liked T-Rich and Doug Martin more than most and I got them both."

NE - TE Aaron Hernandez released

Source: Twitter

The New England Patriots released TE Aaron Hernandez. He has been charged with murder in the death of Odin Lloyd and is being held without bond.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hernandez looks like a total loss for 2013 with this news. No team is going to want to sign him until his legal issues are resolved. He still has five to ten cents on the dollar value in dynasty, with Michael Vick an example of a player who returned from prison time to have fantasy value.

MIA - Continue to talk with RB Vonta Leach

Source: The Baltimore Sun - Aaron Wilson

The Miami Dolphins continued contract talks with free-agent FB Vonta Leach (Ravens) Wednesday, June 26.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Dolphins lack a lead-blocking fullback, with FB/TE 'tweeners Charles Clay and Evan Rodriguez on the roster at the position right now. The addition of Leach would be great news for a Lamar Miller hype train that is picking up enough steam to get him into the third round of some drafts.

MIA - WR Brian Hartline talks up QB

Source: The Miami Herald - Barry Jackson

Miami Dolphins WR Brian Hartline praised QB Ryan Tannehill on a conference call with fans Tuesday, June 25. He said the second-year QB 'has taken a huge step. I couldn't ask for more. He's making every throw. He's got great touch. His deep ball is awesome.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

According to reports Hartline has shown the strongest chemistry with Tannehill during the offseason. Tannehill could take a big step in year two as the Dolphins have surrounded him with better talent in 2013. We'll see if he can make the most of his skill set with new weapons like WR Mike Wallace and TE Dustin Keller.

MIA - Remain frontrunners for RB Vonta Leach

Source: The Miami Herald - Barry Jackson

The agent for free-agent FB Vonta Leach (Ravens) said Tuesday, June 25, that the Miami Dolphins remain the frontrunner for Leach's services, but he might take one more visit elsewhere, presumably with the New York Giants. '(Miami's) the right place to be. We're trying to crunch numbers,' Leach's agent said.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Leach is one of the best in the game at his position. He can blast open holes and would boost the prospects for RB Lamar Miller if the Dolphins add him. The Dolphins like to use Miller in the I-formation or offset I-formation and the interest in Leach makes a lot of sense.

SF - TE Vernon Davis open to position change

Source: NFL.com - Dan Hanzus

San Francisco 49ers TE Vernon Davis practiced exclusively with the wide receivers during minicamp, and said Tuesday, June 25, he is open to helping out at wideout if the team needs it. 'If coaches want to line me up there, we'll see,' Davis said.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The loss of WR Michael Crabtree is going to hurt this passing game. The team could cushion that blow by being more creative with the way that Davis is used. He's got the athleticism to create mismatches no matter where he lines up. We should see more targets for Davis this season.

NYG - Former RB high on RB David Wilson

Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Ohm Youngmisuk

Retired RB Tiki Barber said New York Giants RB David Wilson is the most dynamic running back the Giants have ever had. 'I wasnít fast. I was quick, I was elusive, I had good vision but I didnít have breakaway speed like he does. I wasnít the athlete like he is. I worked hard to get where I was. As long as he doesnít take that for granted and works hard on top of it, he can be fantastic,' Barber said.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wilson continues to creep up draft boards, as his legion of believers grows. You'll probably have to spend a third round pick to get him now, and his upside may merit that large of an investment if you don't start RB-RB in your draft.

SD - Won't put pressure on RB Ryan Mathews

Source: NFL.com - Chris Wesseling

It seems as though the San Diego Chargers have come to grips with the fact that RB Ryan Mathews won't be the stud three-down running back they envisioned when they traded up to select him 12th overall in the 2010 NFL Draft. RB Danny Woodhead has been very impressive in offseason workouts, and The San Diego Union Tribune's Michael Gehlken thinks Woodhead will be a big part of the Bolts' running attack, taking valuable repetitions away from Mathews.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This story came from an interview with Gehlken on our podcast "The Audible". Gehlken advocated Woodhead as a later pick in PPR leagues, and we agree with his advice.

DAL - Want WR Miles Austin in slot in three-WR sets

Source: ESPNDallas.com - Tim MacMahon

The Dallas Cowboys' strong preference is having WR Miles Austin as the slot receiver when they line up in three-receiver sets. Austin would be the slot receiver if WR Terrance Williams wins the No. 3 wide receiver job.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Austin is a good sleeper this year whether or not Williams wins the #3 job and pushes him inside to the slot on third down. Austin has had trouble staying healthy, but he has been a borderline WR1 when healthy over the last few years, and that's a value in the seventh or eighth round.

DAL - Were high on WR Terrance Williams

Source: ESPNDallas.com - Tim MacMahon

The Dallas Cowboys had WR Terrance Williams the 23rd player on their board entering the 2013 NFL Draft, and selected him with the 74th overall pick. He will be competing with WR Dwayne Harris for the No. 3 wide receiver job during training camp.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Williams has a good combination of size and straight-line speed, that could be harnessed to replace Miles Austin if he is deemed not worth his 2014 salary of 5.5 million dollars. He will have his hands full trying to overcome Harris this year, but Williams will hopefully be on target to start next year if he is needed.

KC - WR Brandon Lloyd could be option

Source: ESPN.com - Bill Williamson

The Kansas City Chiefs could show interest in free-agent WR Brandon Lloyd (Patriots) if WRs Donnie Avery and Jonathan Baldwin are not good enough complements to WR Dwayne Bowe.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Lloyd can still work the sidelines and create some separation on short and intermediate routes, but his personality could be too much for some teams, and he showed little ability to get downfield or create after the catch last year. If Lloyd is signed, it's more of a bad reflection on Baldwin and Avery than anything good about Lloyd.

JAX - RB Denard Robinson says he can play several positions

Source: Jaguars.com - John Oehser

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Denard Robinson has described himself as an offensive weapon because he can play several positions. Robinson still meets with the running backs, but the offensive workouts indicate that he will move line up at different positions.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Robinson is an intriguing novelty player to target late in rookie drafts, but he has a long way to go before being a legitimate NFL running back or wide receiver. While he is an electrifying, tough open-field runner with good speed, Robinson is not going to be an elite playmaker in the NFL.

JAX - QB Mike Kafka could compete for QB job

Source: Jaguars.com - John Oehser

Jacksonville Jaguars QBs Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne are expected to compete for the starting quarterback job during training camp, but QB Mike Kafka could enter the competition during camp.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Jaguars took advantage of their high waiver priority to snag Kafka when the Patriots let him go to sign Tim Tebow. Any Cecil Shorts or Justin Blackmon owners should be rooting for Henne to win this job, as they were top 10 wide receivers on a PPR basis while Henne was starting last year.

WAS - QB Rex Grossman's roster spot could be in question

Source: CSNWashington.com - Rich Tandler

Washington Redskins QB Rex Grossman's spot on the final roster could be in question if the team decides to carry only two quarterbacks in the roster. The team could consider keeping three quarterbacks on the final roster if there are still concerns about QB Robert Griffin III's (knee) injured knee.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This means that Grossman's status will be a good external indicator of the Redskins' confidence in Robert Griffin III to hold up all year. If Grossman isn't needed in Washington, he could be a trade candidate to a team with a weaker backup like New Orleans or Seattle.

JAX - RB Maurice Jones-Drew likely to be sued

Source: The Florida Times Union - Kate Howard Perry and Vito Stellino

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew is likely to have a civil lawsuit filed against him stemming from the nightclub altercation.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

But he won't be suspended, which is our main concern in fantasy. He's still only a boom/bust third-round RB2 right now, and probably won't move up until he shows that he can go at full speed on his surgically repaired foot.

MIN - ILB Desmond Bishop expects to be ready for camp

Source: Minneapolis Star Tribune - Kent Youngblood

Minnesota Vikings LB Desmond Bishop said he expects to be ready to fully participate once training camp begins. He has been training in Arizona to get ready for the regular season.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

There has been speculation that Bishop's hamstring must be in bad shape for the Packers to release him, but this suggests otherwise. He should be a solid LB3/LB4 pick with upside this year.

CAR - OLB Thomas Davis adjusting well to new position

Source: Panthers.com - Max Henson

Carolina Panthers linebackers coach Al Holcomb said LB Thomas Davis is adjusting well to strongside linebacker after playing last season at weakside linebacker. 'Thomas is a veteran, and he sees the big picture. He gets it,' Holcomb said. 'He's adjusting very well to playing on the strong side. He's picking up the checks, he's communicating more. Physically, he's a guy that in space, you marvel at. He has exceptional ability for the position, in terms of his movement and his ability to close on the football.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Davis came into the league as a safety/linebacker 'tweener who appeared to be a decent fit as a 4-3 strong side linebacker. He can run with the league's talented group of tight ends, but he is also strong and rugged enough to rush the passer and take on blockers. His continued ability to play at a high level after three ACL years is impressive.

CAR - Coach believes ILB Jon Beason will do fine at OLB

Source: Panthers.com - Max Henson

Carolina Panthers linebackers coach Al Holcomb said he believes LB Jon Beason will do fine in his transition from middle linebacker to weakside linebacker.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Beason was originally slated to play either position when he was being scouted for the 2007 draft. He has the range and athleticism to fit at WLB, although his IDP upside is capped compared to his ability to put up fantasy numbers from the MLB position, which belongs to Luke Kuechly.

CLE - Ausar Walcott cut

Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot

The Cleveland Browns have released LB Ausar Walcott after he was arrested for attempted murder, aggravated assault and endangering an injured victim.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Walcott's story will get lost in the bigger football/crime story of the day. Walcott was competing for a practice squad spot at best.
