B. Footballguys Draft GM - Version 1.1 Ready - Get Ready To Mock
The response to the Draft GM has been outstanding and we've been hard at work with some tweaks to make it even better.

One of the coolest features about the new Draft GM is the ability to Mock Draft. While it's the tool you need to run your actual draft, it's fantastic for mock drafting where you go against the artificial intelligence of the app. It's a great way to try different strategies and see what kind of team you end up with. It would be worth the price just for how much fun it is to mock with this.
What's New in Version 1.1

- Position counting, per team and overall on rosters screen
- Variable mock draft AI delay in settings
- Global watch list
- Player search on player database
- Keeper bug fixed
- Cancel updating data option
- PPR/TDs Only scoring is retained on switching to advanced scoring
- IDP VBD adjustments
- Sliders for modifying team AI and projection set balances have numbers changing as the sliders are adapted
- Division by zero yardage scoring causing NaN in VBD bug fixed

Various other minor tweaks and issues fixed.

It's the mobile draft tool you need to Dominate Your Draft.

DEN - May platoon RBs because of tempo

Source: Andrew Mason - DenverBroncos.com

The Denver Broncos have been working this offseason on a new up-tempo offense under new OC Adam Gase. Because of that tempo they may choose to platoon their RBs instead of having one bellcow back. According to Andrew Mason from DenverBroncos.com "we could see a Hillman/Ball combination, not just one guy."

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

An important note for fantasy owners here. Gase said earlier this offseason that the team would use multiple RBs. They could rotate backs via series so as not to slow down the tempo with substitutions. Ball's ADP is growing rapidly (RB20) even though he only received about 25% of the snaps with the first-team this offseason. Hillman's ADP is RB51 and he may play a bigger role than some assume right now. This is a RBBC which may feature a Thunder (Ball) and Lightning (Hillman) combination.

MIA - Tannehill looking like a veteran QB

Source: Omar Kelly - South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Miami Dolphins second-year QB Ryan Tannehill is looking like a veteran during this offseason according to Omar Kelly from the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Tannehill is reportedly throwing better downfield and making proper checks at the line of scrimmage.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Great news for the Dolphins here. We love the upside of Tannehill and believe he could be the franchise QB the Dolphins have been missing since the days of Dan Marino. The team did a good job of adding weapons (WR Mike Wallace, TE Dustin Keller) around him this offseason. We should see him take a big step in 2013.

CAR - Want QB Cam Newton to be careful while running

Source: NationalFootballPost.com - Dan Pompei

Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Mike Shula said he does not want QB Cam Newton to stop running but does want Newton to avoid unnecessary hits. 'In this run/read offense, there are decisions he makes with the option,' Shula said. 'Don't make decisions where he gets hit right away. If you are not sure if you should hand it off or keep it, then hand it off.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No surprise here. Newton is a big guy but hits can add up and the team wants him to stay durable and in the lineup.

CAR - Could look to cut down on offensive verbiage

Source: NationalFootballPost.com

Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Mike Shula indicated the offense could use less verbiage at times in the huddle because the team wants to take some of the burden off QB Cam Newton. 'The more words you have in your play calling, the easier it is on everyone else because the quarterback basically is telling them what to do. Fewer words help the quarterbacks because he doesn't have to say as much. This offense can get very wordy. So we're trying to massage it so he doesn't have to call long plays all the time and put more of the burden on some of the other players. It will help not being in the huddle all that long,' Shula said.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The team is trying to make Newton more comfortable this year and the results could be seen on the field. The Panthers did not run many zone-read at OTAs. The option package will be de-emphasized under new offensive coordinator Mike Shula. We'll see how this works for Newton in the preseason.

DAL - Staubach backs Romo

Source: Dallas Morning News

Hall of Fame QB Roger Staubach backs current Cowboys' starter Tony Romo. "Tony Romo is a championship quarterback," Staubach said. "He can take a team to a championship. He can't do it by himself, but I really believe he can do it. I just see what he does on the field, the plays he makes, the throws he makes, the sense that he has to move in the pocket, so I'm pulling really hard for Tony because I really believe he is one heck of a quarterback. And that's a feeling from somebody that I didn't say that about any other quarterbacks except for Troy Aikman. I think Tony is the right quarterback, and we're lucky to have Tony Romo."

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll see if Romo can stay healthy and get this team to the playoffs in 2013. Romo had a cyst removed from his back earlier this offseason but should be ready for the start of training camp.

ARI - Team surprised by WR Swope's concussion symptoms

Source: Josh Katzowitz - CBSSports.com

The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly concerned with rookie WR Ryan Swope (Texas A&M) missing OTAs due to concussion symptoms. "We were very, very, very surprised about it," Arians told NFL.com on Friday. "I'm not sure what he can do, I'm not sure what the doctors are going to do at this point. I hope ... because the kid is a great talent, and it would be a shame. But having Austin Collie last year go through this same thing, it's scary."

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The team is going to be very cautious with Swope as he deals with these concussion symptoms. Swope was incredibly talented in college but fell to the sixth-round in the 2013 NFL draft because of durability concerns. If healthy Swope can line up at multiple spots, has strong hands, and the speed to get open in a hurry.

DAL - RB Tanner making a good impression

Source: Chrisitan Clark - Ft. Worth Star-Telegram

Dallas Cowboys RB Phillip Tanner has been making a good impression at OTAs. New RB coach Gary Brown said, "From what I've seen so far, he looks like he's in great shape. He's studying. He knows what he's doing and not making any mental errors."

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Tanner needs to improve if he wants to win the RB3 job behind Demarco Murray and rookie Joseph Randle (Oklahoma State). Lance Dunbar is the main competition for Tanner in training camp.

DET - RB Bush knows the playbook

Source: Mike O'Hara - DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions RB Reggie Bush is feeling good about his knowledge of the team's playbook. "It's pretty similar," Bush said. "This playbook, from a terminology standpoint, is a little easier to learn, and probably just because I've been in the league going on eight years now. I know pretty much everything. It's just different terminology. It's pretty easy for me to pick up now."

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bush is a perfect fit for the Lions offense. His big play ability should be accentuated in that high powered offense. In PPR leagues we wouldn't be surprised to see Bush finish the season as a top 10 fantasy RB.

DEN - Concious Decision to Get Younger at RB

Source: Gray Caldwell - DenverBroncos.com

When the Denver Broncos released veteran RB Willis McGahee it was because they made a conscious decision to get younger at the position.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Some assumed the Broncos let McGahee go because he wasn't healthy. That simply wasn't the case. The team trusts what they've seen from rookie Montee Ball (Wisconsin) and Ronnie Hillman. Even McGahee commented that he felt healthy when he reported for mandatory minicamp. "I'm healthy, I'm cleared. Everything is good. No problems. I can run. I've been working out when I was in Miami. I've dropped down (weight). No complaints." Teams like San Diego, Oakland, and Dallas may show interest in the veteran RB.

BAL - RB Anthony Allen favorite for No. 3 RB job

Source: BaltimoreRavens.com - Garrett Downing

Baltimore Ravens RB Anthony Allen will enter training camp as the leading candidate for the No. 3 running back job.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The 2011 seventh-round pick (Georgia Tech) is a versatile runner with good ability in between the tackles. Allen's not as explosive as Bobby Rainey but could win the RB3 job ahead of him.

BAL - RB Bernard Pierce could push for more carries

Source: BaltimoreRavens.com - Garrett Downing

Baltimore Ravens RB Bernard Pierce could push RB Ray Rice for more carries this season. The team could consider rotating the running backs during games to make sure both stay fresh.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Getting Pierce more involved is a wise move for the Ravens. When healthy Pierce looked good last year as a rookie showing plenty of power plus speed at the second level. Pierce had 108 carries last year and that number should rise in 2013. His emergence makes Rice a top 10 (not top 5) fantasy RB. Pierce's ADP is RB46 and he's a value coming off the board at 10.09 in 12 team fantasy leagues.

DAL - Unlikely to use WR Dez Bryant as returner

Source: ESPNDallas.com - Calvin Watkins

The Dallas Cowboys likely will not use WR Dez Bryant as a punt returner this season because of how has played at wide receiver.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's the smart move for the Cowboys. Bryant has finally started playing up to his enormous potential and should be a top 5 fantasy WR in 2013. There's no need to risk injury by having him on the field for a punt/kick return.

PHI - WR Jeremy Maclin says contract will not be a distraction

Source: Philadelphia Inquirer - Zach Berman

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin said his contract situation will not be a distraction for him this season as he enters the final year of his current contract and will look for the situation to play itself out.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The two sides have had preliminary discussions about a new deal. Maclin's pro career has been marred by injuries and inconsistent play. Under new head coach Chip Kelly we could see Maclin finally start playing up to his potential.

TEN - ILB Colin McCarthy expected to have edge for starting job

Source: The Tennessean - Jim Wyatt

Tennessee Titans LB Colin McCarthy is expected to enter training camp as the leading candidate for the starting middle linebacker job. McCarthy will have to compete with LB Moise Fokou for the job during camp.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCarthy (ankle) is still not fully recovered from the ankle surgery he had this offseason but is expected to be ready for training camp.
