IND - RB Ahmad Bradshaw agrees to one-year deal

Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Free-agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw has agreed to a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A good move by the Colts here. Bradshaw is a perfect fit for the Pep Hamilton West Coast offense the team is going to run this season. This addition means either Donald Brown or Delone Carter is on the roster bubble during training camp.

PIT - QB Ben Roethlisberger injury update

Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette - Ed Bouchette

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (knee) said the recovery from surgery to repair a torn right knee meniscus is going well and that he could play this weekend if he had to.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for the Steelers here. Roethlisberger is on track to be ready by the start of training camp. We'll see if he can flourish in year two of the Todd Haley offense. Roethlisberger's current ADP is QB15 and he's coming off the board at 10.12 in 12 team fantasy leagues.

NE - QB Tim Tebow runs third-team offense

Source: The Boston Globe - Ben Volin

New England Patriots QB Tim Tebow ran the third-team offense in practice Tuesday, June 11. Tebow completed 4-of-7 passes, and a couple were dropped by wide receivers, but he also held on to the ball too long and likely would have been sacked in a real game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Let the Tebow third-team reports commence! Tebow has a lot of work to do as a passer but most is mental. Sure, many will make a big deal out of his slow throwing motion and bad footwork. However, it's his mental processing speed that needs the most improvement. Tebow doesn't only need to trust what he sees, he needs to understand what he sees first and foremost. The Patriots have a project in Tebow and his roster spot is not guaranteed.

NE - WR Danny Amendola building rapport

Source: ESPNBoston.com - Mike Reiss

New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola seems to have built a level of trust with QB Tom Brady quicker than the other receivers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Amendola is taking the place of Wes Welker (Broncos) and is line for over 150 targets if he can stay healthy. He's only been able to play a full 16 games once (2010) during his four-year pro career. Last year he missed five games for the Rams due to a clavicle and triceps injury. Amendola is a WR2 with upside for fantasy owners if he's able to stay on the field for a full season. His current ADP is WR19 and he's coming off the board at 5.07 in 12 team PPR leagues.

SEA - WR Percy Harvin moving around

Source: USAToday.com - Lindsay H. Jones

Seattle Seahawks WR Percy Harvin has seen time in the slot and on the outside during practice. He has also seen time at running back and kick returner.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Harvin was in the backfield on days Marshawn Lynch missed practice, but this is still a sign that he's going to be moved around quite a bit in 2013. We like Harvin as a top 10 fantasy WR this year provided he can stay healthy. His current ADP is WR7 and he's coming off the board at 3.04 in 12 team PPR leagues.

TEN - Coach praises RB Chris Johnson

Source: The Tennessean - Jim Wyatt

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak praised RB Chris Johnson for his work this offseason and said he expects Johnson to have a big year in 2013.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Titans ground game got a huge shot in the arm with the addition of OG Andy Levitre in free agency and OG Chance Warmack (Alabama) in the first-round of the 2013 NFL draft. Johnson should have plenty of running room inside but this season will have to split time with free agent addition Shonn Greene. Johnson's current ADP is RB13 and he's coming off the board at 2.05 in 12 team PPR leagues.

NE - WR Austin Collie works out

Source: ESPNBoston.com - Mike Reiss

The New England Patriots worked out free-agent WR Austin Collie (Colts).

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Collie is trying to make a comeback from a ruptured right patella tendon. He has a long concussion history that also clouds his NFL future. Collie won't be 100 percent until October and may not get signed to a deal with any team until then.

TB - QB Josh Freeman smoother

Source: PewterReport.com - Mark Cook

Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan said QB Josh Freeman is much smoother in the offseason this season. 'There has been a lot of improvement from Josh, and really all the offensive players the second year in the system,' Sullivan said. 'This time last year - it is like a foreign language - just learning the formations and the calls. Now we have a complete offseason, a training camp, a preseason and 16 regular season games, and things are much smoother and we are really excited abut where we are at.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Freeman is entering the final year of his rookie contract and needs to be more consistent in 2013 if he wants to have a future with the Buccaneers. The team selected Mike Glennon (NC State) in the third-round of the 2013 NFL draft to push Freeman this year and be a starting option if they part ways with Freeman this offseason. So far it sounds like Freeman is on the right track.

NYJ - QB Mark Sanchez works exclusively with first-team offense

Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez worked exclusively with the first-team offense in practice Tuesday, June 11. He completed four of his eight pass attempts, missing the final four, and took a sack in seven-on-seven drills. Jets rookie QB Geno Smith went 4-for-7 and was sacked three times while working with the second-string offense.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sanchez wants to get his swagger back and win the starting job in training camp. Both he and Smith have been struggling this offseason and this battle may last well into August. Even if Sanchez wins the starting job to begin the year the presence of Smith may mean a short hook for the veteran.

NYG - WR Hakeem Nicks not in tune with offense

Source: New York Post - Paul Schwartz

New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said that WR Hakeem Nicks is not in tune with the team's offense after missing some organized team activities, but that Nicks will catch up quickly.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No real surprise here. It won't take much time at all for Nicks to look like his old self. In the last year of his contract if he can stay healthy Nicks could get the big money deal he desires in the offseason.

TB - Sign QB Mike Glennon

Source: SportsTalkFlorida.com - Jenna Laine

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed QB Mike Glennon (NC State) Tuesday, June 11. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Glennon has a strong arm and large frame. He's a pure pocket passer who can sling deep passes down the field with ease. His dropback, footwork, and accuracy need a heavy amount of work before he's ready to be a starter at the NFL level. With Josh Freeman entering the final year of his deal Glennon could be groomed as an eventual starter for the Buccaneers.

NYG - WR Hakeem Nicks likely to be limited

Source: New York Daily News - Ralph Vacchiano

New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (knee) is likely to be limited in practice Tuesday, June 11. Nicks was jogging through some of the team's early drills.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Nicks will need some time to get up to speed. He'll be more than ready by the time the Giants are in training camp.

CHI - More on WR Alshon Jeffery

Source: ESPNChicago.com - Jeff Dickerson

Updating a previous report, Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) tweaked his hamstring. The injury is not believed to be serious and the team is just being cautious.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for the Bears here. Jeffery is set to be a big part of their passing game as the starter opposite Brandon Marshall. They'll bring him along carefully as he deals with this hamstring injury.

DEN - RB Knowshon Moreno running routes

Source: Cecil Lammey - ESPN Denver and Footballguys.com

Denver Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno (knee) was running routes during practice Tuesday, June 11. Moreno was previously only taking part in pass protection drills last week after having knee surgery early in the offseason.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Broncos head coach John Fox said earlier this offseason that Moreno was going to be brought along slowly as he comes back from the knee injury he suffered in the playoffs against Baltimore last year. The Denver Post speculates that Moreno and Willis McGahee are in a competition for one spot on the depth chart. At this point Moreno could be considered the favorite because he's a better receiver and better in pass protection than McGahee.

OAK - Joshua Cribbs not practicing

Source: Contra Costa Times - Steve Corkran

Oakland Raiders WR Joshua Cribbs (knee) did not participate in practice Tuesday, June 11.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No surprise here. When the Raiders signed Cribbs they knew he may not be ready to participate until training camp. He's on track to be at full strength for the start of the regular season. Cribbs is going to be the Raiders top return man this year.

WAS - Donte' Stallworth to be signed

Source: The Washington Times - Rich Campbell

Free-agent WR Donte' Stallworth impressed Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan during practice at the team's minicamp Tuesday, June 11. Shanahan indicated that Washington intends to sign Stallworth, barring a decline in his play in the next couple of days.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Stallworth only caught one pass last year during his time with the Patriots. In 2011 he caught 22 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns with the Redskins. The veteran WR isn't the same player he used to be and would not be guaranteed a roster spot if the team added him.

TB - TE Tom Crabtree could be offensive weapon

Source: The Tampa Tribune - Roy Cummings

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Tom Crabtree will be watched closely by the team's scouts and coaches in minicamp this week to see how he's adjusting to the offense and QB Josh Freeman. Tampa Bay's shift from a West Coast-style of offense to more of a vertical passing attack has reduced the emphasis placed on the tight end. The Buccaneers believe that Crabtree has the ability to be a threat in the passing game, however, and he could prompt them to alter how much they involve the position.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Crabtree only has 18 catches for 302 yards and 4 touchdowns over his three year career with the Packers. Now that he's with the Buccaneers we'll see if he can expand his role. Fantasy owners in super deep dynasty leagues need to keep an eye on Crabtree in the preseason.

TB - Team high on WR Kevin Ogletree

Source: The Tampa Tribune - Roy Cummings

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Kevin Ogletree has to beat out WRs Tiquan Underwood, David Douglas, Chris Owusu and Eric Page to win the third wide receiver position, but the Bucs are very high on Ogletree, according to The Tampa Tribune's Roy Cummings.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ogletree failed to play up to his potential with the Cowboys and now gets a fresh start with the Bucs. Underwood is a staff favorite and may not get beat out for the team's WR3 spot.

DEN - RB Willis McGahee arrives

Source: The Denver Post - Lindsay Jones

Denver Broncos RB Willis McGahee is present for the team's minicamp on Tuesday, June 11.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McGahee is at the facility for the first time this offseason. Many think his roster spot is in danger after the team added Montee Ball (Wisconsin) in the second-round of the 2013 NFL draft. He is competing for a spot on the depth chart with Knowshon Moreno and is not a lock to make the team.

ARI - WR Michael Floyd poised for breakout

Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Floyd appears to be an important piece to new head coach Bruce Arians as the team heads into the 2013 season. He seems to have been targeted more than any other player during workouts. WR Larry Fitzgerald took Floyd under his wing last year and has helped the second-year receiver to improve his diet, among other things. Arians said, 'I see him making leaps and bounds getting better. ... He's totally bought in and if he just continues to improve his fundamentals he's another guy who can have a breakout year.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Larry Fitzgerald has been impressed by Floyd this offseason. This is important for fantasy owners to realize. Floyd has the big play ability, size, and wingspan to be an impact player at the pro level. The news Arians offense fits his downfield skill set perfectly and he could quickly earn the trust of QB Carson Palmer. Floyd's current ADP is WR57 and he's coming off the board at 13.10 in 12 team PPR leagues.

SD - Manti Te'o talks to the media

Source: The Associated Press

San Diego Chargers LB Manti Te'o has been largely shielded from the media since joining the team. He spoke with reporters Tuesday, June 11, saying he is in a perfect place and wants to be a three-down player. Te'o said nothing matters but what he does on the field and that his teammates only care that he is working hard. He also talked about the differences between college football and the NFL.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Te'o answered the tough questions about his 'Catfish' problem at the scouting combine. If he is a good pro then the fake girlfriend thing will only be an afterthought. Te'o had seven interceptions last year but questions abound about his ability to cover at the pro level.

HOU - S Ed Reed injury update

Source: HoustonTexans.com

Houston Texans FS Ed Reed (hip) said his rehab is going well and that he is hoping to be ready for September. 'It's going well right now, Reed said. There's really no timeline. We're just gonna keep on grinding & keep on working & shoot for September.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The key word is 'hoping.' There's no guarantee that Reed will be ready for the start of the regular season. Reed is likely to miss time on the PUP list in training camp. He'll be very limited if he does dress for any preseason games.
