NO - WR Joe Morgan to miss season

Source: New Orleans Times-Picayune - Larry Holder

New Orleans Saints WR Joe Morgan (knee) will miss the entire 2013 season because of a partially torn anterior cruciate ligament as well as a torn meniscus.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We had Morgan as the #3 most productive WR for the Saints so it's a tough blow but not a devastating injury for the Saints (it is for Morgan obviously). But still something to watch. We'll be looking to see how the team reacts and who looks to fill the void from Morgan. Guys like Steve Breaston, Nick Toon, and Kenny Stills will compete for that spot.

SD - WR Vincent Brown likely to start

Source: The San Diego Union-Tribune - Michael Gehlken

San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown (hamstring) is likely to start opposite WR Malcom Floyd following the season-ending injury to WR Danario Alexander (knee). WRs Keenan Allen, Robert Meachem and Eddie Royal are the other receivers in the mix. Brown is not expected to play in the preseason opener Thursday, Aug. 8, however, after just returning to practice recently after a strained hamstring sidelined him from practice.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We love Brown as a value pick later in your draft. He's a sharp route runner with strong hands and concentration. He'll be a favorite target of QB Philip Rivers because he gets open and catches everything thrown his way. His current ADP is WR44 and he's going off the board at 11.05 in 12 team PPR leagues.

SD - WR Keenan Allen sees time with starters

Source: The San Diego Union-Tribune - Tom Krasovic

San Diego Chargers WR Keenan Allen received some snaps with the first-team offense during practice Wednesday, Aug. 7.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Allen is an interesting rookie WR to keep an eye on. He fell in the draft despite having first-round talent because of a nagging PCL injury that prevented him from working out for teams. Allen is a linear athlete who can make difficult catches seem routine. He's getting more reps now that Danario Alexander (knee) is done for the year.

GB - RB Eddie Lacy nursing hamstring injury

Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky

Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (hamstring) was sidelined from practice Wednesday, Aug. 7, due to a hamstring injury. Head coach Mike McCarthy said the issue has been bothering Lacy off and on during camp, and he is not concerned it is a long-term issue.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Durability issues are a big concern for Lacy even though he was only a 14 game starter in college at Alabama. Lacy has been a standout player during camp and the Packers' scrimmage on Saturday. He's a between the tackles banger who can wear down opponents. Lacy is expected to win the starting job for Green Bay this year. The Packers havenít had a 100-yard rusher in last 43 regular-season games (more than twice as long as any other active streak in NFL).

ATL - RB Steven Jackson being used all over

Source: AtlantaFalcons.com - Daniel Cox

Atlanta Falcons RB Steven Jackson is lining up all over the field and in receiver sets. 'It reminds me of my younger years in St. Louis when I was used more as a receiver out of the backfield,' Jackson said. 'It allows me to use more tools in the shed that I have and possess. It allows me to work on things I haven't done in a number of years.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jackson is invigorated with his new team and makes for a great value if you get him in the second-round of your fantasy draft. He'll catch plenty of passes in addition to leading the Falcons in carries. His current ADP is RB12 and he's coming off the board at 2.02 in 12 team PPR leagues.

BUF - OC confirms RB C.J. Spiller will see a lot of action

Source: The Buffalo News - Tim Graham

Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett confirmed RB C.J. Spiller will see the ball a lot this season. 'It's real simple,' Hackett said. 'We're going to give him the ball until he throws up. So he's either got to tap out or throw up on the field. Let's just put it that way.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We would love to see more from Spiller this season. The big play back handled an increased workload last year and finished the season as the number seven fantasy RB. With his ability as a runner and receiver out of the backfield we could see Spiller finish as a top five fantasy RB in 2013.

STL - RB Daryl Richardson expected to start

Source: StLouisRams.com

St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said Tuesday, Aug. 6, that he thinks RB Daryl Richardson 'comes back as our starter.' Richardson is battling RB Isaiah Pead for the starting tailback job, and RB Zac Stacy is also in the mix for the assignment.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Richardson is a big play back who can score any time he touches the ball. He's not the biggest back but rarely takes a big hit because of his elusiveness. Richardson is an inside/out runner who can tough it out between the tackles. If he gets a crease then he has the long speed to take it to the house. Expect his ADP to rise with this news. At this time his ADP is RB32 and he's coming off the board at 6.08 in 12 team PPR leagues.

MIA - WR Mike Wallace practices

Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero

Miami Dolphins WR Mike Wallace (groin) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Aug. 7.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

So long as Wallace doesn't suffer any setbacks we should see him in the Dolphins next preseason game. He missed the Hall of Fame Game dealing with this groin problem. Wallace needs as much practice time as he can get so he establishes better chemistry with QB Ryan Tannehill.

NYJ - Coach says WR Jeremy Kerley having great camp

Source: ESPNNewYork.com

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said he believes WR Jeremy Kerley is having one of the best training camps among the players on the roster this season. 'Obviously, he played really well for us last year,' Ryan said. 'Might have had the best year out of all those guys. But the thing I've been most impressed with is his punt returning.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Jets need Kerley in a big way. Santonio Holmes is still recovering from his Grade 4 (most severe) Lis Franc injury and may not be ready for the start of the regular season. Stephen Hill is a talented second-year WR but still has a raw skill set. Braylon Edwards isn't the same player he used to be and is not an exciting option. Kerley could get around 50 catches this year as the most reliable target in the Jets passing game.

IND - RB Ahmad Bradshaw expects to practice soon

Source: Colts.com - Craig Kelley

Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) said he believes he will be able participate in practice in about a week.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Once healthy Bradshaw will compete with Vick Ballard for the starting job. We feel he's best suited for the Pep Hamilton offense as the better receiver (and more explosive runner). Bradshaw needs to prove that he's healthy before fantasy owners can trust him.

SD - WR Vincent Brown to miss preseason game

Source: The San Diego Union-Tribune - Michael Gehlken

San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown (hamstring) will not play in the first preseason game because of his hamstring injury but is expected to play in the second preseason game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Durability is the only thing that could keep Brown from being a quality value pick late in your draft. He's a great route runner and has amazing hands. The team is being cautious with him as he deals with this hamstring injury.

NO - RB Mark Ingram gets most of carries Monday

Source: New Orleans Times-Picayune - Mike Triplett

New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram received a majority of the carries with the first-team offense during practice Monday, Aug. 5, and looked strong, fast and fluid during his rushes.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ingram is finally healthy and ready to be the lead back for the Saints this year. Head coach Sean Payton is back with the team after serving a one-year suspension in 2012. He has vowed to re-establish the Saints ground game this season. Ingram could be a nice value at his current ADP of RB38, 8.08 in 12 team non-PPR leagues.

PHI - WR Arrelious Benn placed on IR

Source: The Philadelphia Inquirer - Jeff McLane

The Philadelphia Eagles have placed WR Arrelious Benn (knee) on Injured Reserve, ending his 2013 season.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

His career may be in jeopardy because of his struggles to stay healthy. Benn has done little to impress when he's been healthy and on the football field.

MIA - RB Lamar Miller limping

Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero

Miami Dolphins RB Lamar Miller (ankle) has been limping at times during practice Wednesday, Aug. 7, because of an ankle injury but has continued to practice.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Miller is set to be the Dolphins starter this year so the team is going to monitor him closely. In the meantime we could see more practice reps for guys like Daniel Thomas and Mike Gillislee.

CLE - RB Trent Richardson ruled out of preseason game

Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot

Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski said RB Trent Richardson (shin) will not play in the first preseason game but would have played if the game counted. RB Dion Lewis will be the starting running back for the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

An important note for fantasy owners here. Not because Richardson will miss the game with a minor injury, but that Lewis is the starter in his absence. Lewis is built low to the ground and can change direction while maintaining his balance. His emergence could push oft-injured backup Montario Hardesty off the final roster.

JAX - RB Maurice Jones-Drew feeling good

Source: The Florida Times-Union - Gene Frenette

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) said he is not having any problems with his foot during training camp. 'There's no pain in my foot. I'm cutting great, no swelling. It's like back to normal again.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for Jones-Drew and his fantasy owners (including himself). We could see his ADP rise ever so slightly as leagues begin to draft the further we get into August. Jones-Drew has been regularly going off the board as RB16 at 2.08 in 12 team PPR leagues.

BAL - Happy with TE Visanthe Shiancoe's work

Source: The Baltimore Sun - Aaron Wilson

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said he has been pleased with how TE Visanthe Shiancoe has looked so far since joining the team. 'I'd say he's done a really good job, but there is a learning curve,' Harbaugh said. 'He physically looks like he is in good shape. He is running routes well. He catches the ball well, and he's learning the offense. That's not easy. He's not up to full speed because he's not there mentally yet. But, we sure have a lot of talent and ability. He's doing a good job.' Shiancoe said the hardest thing for him as been learning the terminology.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Shiancoe is a seasoned veteran but has little fantasy value. He's been getting more work with the Ravens as Ed Dickson is dealing with a hamstring injury.

SEA - WR Early Doucet cut

Source: KFFL.com

The Seattle Seahawks have terminated the contract of WR Early Doucet.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Doucet only lasted five days on the roster and was only able to practice once due to undisclosed injury. The market was especially cool for his services before the Seahawks gig and his playing days may be done.

SD - RB Danny Woodhead not practicing

Source: The San Diego Union-Tribune - Michael Gehlken

San Diego Chargers RB Danny Woodhead (undisclosed) has not participated in practice since Friday, Aug. 2, and head coach Mike McCoy has not given a specific reason for the absence. Woodhead is not expected to play in the first preseason game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy owners in PPR leagues need to keep an eye on this situation. Woodhead has been very impressive in Chargers' camp so far but this mysterious reason for missing practice is a concern. With the Chargers expected to be playing from behind a lot we could see more from Woodhead than some think.

NO - WR Kenny Stills works with starters

Source: New Orleans Times-Picayune - Mike Triplett

New Orleans Saints WR Kenny Stills received some reps with the first-team offense during practice Monday, Aug. 5, and performed well. Stills was targeted often by QB Drew Brees on various short-yardage routes. Stills is likely a long shot for the No. 3 wide receiver job but likely will make the final roster.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Stills plays bigger than his size and has a second gear in the open field to get by the defense. He reminds us of Lance Moore (Saints) because of his speed and fluid moves in the open field. Stills is competing with guys like Steve Breaston and Nick Toon for the WR3 job behind Moore and Marques Colston.

NYJ - QB Geno Smith not worried about not starting

Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Jane McManus

New York Jets QB Geno Smith said he is not worried about not starting the first preseason game because he knows that the quarterback competition is not over. Smith has not been told if he will start any of the preseason games.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Smith and Mark Sanchez continue to compete for the top spot in Jets camp. This is a competition that should last throughout the rest of training camp and the preseason. Each day there seems to be a different leader and we have little clarity on the situation right now.

NYJ - QB Mark Sanchez thinks he earned preseason start

Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Jane McManus

New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez said he believes he earned the start in the first preseason game because of the work he has done since training camp started. 'I feel like I'm putting together a good camp and think I earned the right to start in this first game,' Sanchez said. 'We'll see how it goes from there, but I have to keep playing well to stay on the field and that's the plan.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sanchez has more confidence and a bit of a chip on his shoulder this offseason. That's great but not something that has thrust him ahead in this competition. Every day in camp there seems to be a different standout guy. We'll see this battle last through the rest of camp.

BUF - WR Marquise Goodwin leaves practice early

Source: BuffaloBills.com - Chris Brown

Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone said WR Marquise Goodwin left practice because he was short of breath. Goodwin is not expected to miss any practice time moving forward.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Goodwin has Olympic speed and should be able to regularly take the top off the defense for the Bills in 2013. The Bills did a tremendous job this offseason upgrading their WR corps.

HOU - WR Andre Johnson to sit out preseason game

Source: ESPN.com - Tania Ganguli

Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson will not play in the first preseason game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Texans are just being cautious with their superstar WR here. The starters are only expected to get about 10 to 12 plays as the Texans open up their preseason schedule.

WAS - RB Roy Helu doing well with pass protection

Source: The Washington Times - Rich Campbell

Washington Redskins RB Roy Helu has been performing well in pass protection drills during training camp. Helu is looking to win the third-down running back role this season.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Protecting the QB will go a long way to winning the backup job behind Alfred Morris. Helu is a talented all-around back but has had trouble staying healthy during his pro career.

GB - WR Randall Cobb expects to play Friday

Source: Green Bay Press-Gazette - Scott Venci

Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb (biceps) said he expects to play in the first preseason game even though he is dealing with a biceps injury.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He was limited to individual drills during practice Wednesday, Aug. 7, but said it was precautionary.

SD - GM likes WR depth

Source: ESPN.com - Bill Williamson

San Diego Chargers general manager Tom Telesco said he likes the team's current wide receiver corps and indicated the team likely will not sign a wide receiver even though they lost WR Danario Alexander (knee). 'It hurts a lot because Danario worked so hard, he's a good player and a good kid. We thought he had a chance to be a bona-fide playmaker this season,' Telesco said. 'But we feel pretty good about the position. Fortunately, that is one of the positions where we have some depth.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The loss of Alexander hurts as the team doesn't have anyone to replace him. Yes, Malcom Floyd is a big receiver but he lacks the upside that Alexander had. We'll see more opportunity for backup WRs like Robert Meachem and Eddie Royal with this injury. Floyd, Vincent Brown, and rookie Keenan Allen should be the top three receivers for the team in 2013.

HOU - Taking time with RB Arian Foster

Source: ESPN.com - Tania Ganguli

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said he will pleased with the work RB Arian Foster (back, calf) has done with the trainers but indicated the team will take its time with Foster and make sure he is healthy.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Foster had durability problems in college and that's why he fell undrafted in 2009. The team is wise to take it easy on the veteran RB in the preseason. We'll see him eased back into action as training camp continues.

PIT - Mike Adams favorite for LT job

Source: ESPN.com - Jamison Hensley

Pittsburgh Steelers OT Mike X. Adams is listed as the starting left tackle on the team's first depth chart and is considered the favorite to win the job. Adams has been working position over the past week at training camp.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No surprise here. This is why Adams was the Steelers second-round pick in 2012. Coming out of Ohio State scouts compared Adams to Levi Brown (Cardinals) because of his size and athleticism. Adams gets out of his stance quickly and establishes a wide base which helps him deal with power rushers effectively. He is nasty as a run blocker and has the ability to move his man. Adams needs to clean up the way he handles edge rushers.

HOU - RB Ben Tate likely to start preseason game

Source: Houston Chronicle - John McClain

Houston Texans RB Ben Tate (groin) likely will start in the first preseason game as long as he does not have any setbacks before the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Tate injured his groin last Friday but is back in practice on Wednesday. He has a great opportunity to prove himself as Arian Foster (calf) is missing time right now.

PHI - QB Michael Vick expected to start preseason game

Source: ESPN - Sal Paolantonio

Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick is expected to start the team's first preseason game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

According to some reports Vick has created a gap in the competition at QB. We'll see him continue to battle with second-year QB Nick Foles as we go through the preseason.

JAX - WR Cecil Shorts likely to miss preseason opener

Source: Jaguars.com - John Oehser

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said Wednesday, Aug. 7, that WR Cecil Shorts (calf) is not likely to play in the team's preseason opener Friday, Aug. 9, against the Miami Dolphins, as he rests a strained left calf muscle suffered in practice earlier in the week.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No real surprise here. The Jaguars have to be careful with Shorts as he deals with this injury. He'll be the primary target for the Jaguars as they try to get their passing game on point.

GB - David Bakhtiari in line to start

Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky

Green Bay Packers OT David Bakhtiari is expected to get first crack at the starting left tackle job following the loss of OT Bryan Bulaga (knee), who has decided to have season-ending knee surgery.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bakhtiari is an impressive rookie (Colorado) who started for two years at Left Tackle after Nate Solder (Patriots) went pro. He is an alert player who pass blocks with a finishing attitude. Bakhtiari could show improvement as a run blocker where he struggles to redirect opponents.

ATL - Lamar Holmes is next man up

Source: ESPN.com - Pat Yasinskas

Atlanta Falcons OT Lamar Holmes is expected to get a shot at replacing OT Mike P. Johnson (ankle, leg) in the starting lineup. If he cannot handle the job, the team might have to look outside of the organization for help.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Holmes appeared in one game for the Falcons as a rookie last year. He has long 35 1/4" arms and can hold off rushers after the snap. Holmes has enough lateral agility to mirror edge rushers and the anticipation to see what moves are coming. He lacks accuracy when blocking on the move and needs to improve his ability to combo block.

TB - TE Luke Stocker has chance to start in Week 1

Source: ESPN.com - Pat Yasinskas

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Luke Stocker (calf) missed most of the first two weeks of training camp due to a calf injury, but he still has a chance to win the starting job because the team doesn't have a lot of other options at the tight end position. The team is easing Stocker back into practices.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Stocker may be the starter for the Buccaneers but he's not an exciting fantasy option. He suffers from lapses in concentration and has dropped too many passes in limited playing time during his pro career.

BAL - QB Joe Flacco confident despite personnel losses

Source: The Baltimore Sun - Aaron Wilson

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco is confident the team will overcome the offseason departure of WR Anquan Boldin, and loss of TE Dennis Pitta (hip) to injury. WR Jacoby Jones is expected to see plenty of opportunity on the outside with WR Torrey Smith, and Flacco mentioned WRs Tandon Doss and Deonte Thompson as candidates who could step up on the inside. 'I think the one thing that Deonte gives you that you normally don't have in the middle is that speed,' Flacco said. 'Normally, those guys are on the outside. He gives you that speed in there. Tandon is that real strong-handed guy that can go up and make some catches for you. He's got a good feel for how to run the routes in there.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Ravens caught lightning in a bottle last year during their historic postseason run. Without Pitta and Boldin we're going to see a much different offense this year. They should emphasize the ground game more in 2013. This will impact Flacco's passing stats because of the new design of the offense. No WR has cemented themselves as the starter opposite WR Torrey Smith.

JAX - WR Justin Blackmon still out

Source: Jaguars.com - J.P. Shadrick

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon (groin) is out of practice Wednesday, Aug. 7.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Jaguars have been very cautious with Blackmon and for good reason. He's going to miss the first four games of the regular season due to a suspension and they don't want to re-aggravate the injury.

GB - RB Alex Green returns

Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - Tyler Dunne

Green Bay Packers RB Alex Green (knee) returned to practice Wednesday, Aug. 7.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Green is competing for the starting job and this injury has put him behind in the race. He'll try to impress more than rookies Eddie Lacy and Johnathan Franklin. Green looked good earlier in camp and will have to impress in the preseason if he wants to win the starting job.

Cobb is the focal point of the passing game. It wouldn't be a surprise if he caught 90+ passes this season. Cobb is electric in the open field and can make people miss with ease. His strong hands and big play ability have made him a favorite target of QB Aaron Rodgers. His current ADP is WR8 and he's coming off the board at 3.07 in 12 team PPR leagues.

New York Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul (back) is expected to be ready for the regular season opener against the Dallas Cowboys, at least from what general manager Jerry Reese has said. However, Pierre-Paul is quick not to place a date on his return just yet. 'It's not important to me at all,' Pierre-Paul said when asked about how crucial the Week 1 return date is on his rehab. 'I already know that the D-line we have here is going to go out and get the job done.'

Giants GM Jerry Reese recently said the team 'expects' JPP to be ready for the season opener. However, Pierre-Paul commented that the decision to play is up to him. Pierre-Paul has not encountered any setbacks, and he is running a little without much discomfort, according to a person familiar with the rehab.
