II. DRAFTING

How is drafting handled at your site? Are Auction Leagues an option?

Our site supports Auction league Drafts and regular Drafts. They can be done within an afternoon's time or extended over weeks. Or they can be done offline and entered later.

Is pre-drafting an option? If so, please describe how pre-drafting works:

FanStar site has a dual feature pre-ranking. It allows you to rank by position and/or rank by overall best player. Each round you can preset the site to choose best overall or lock in a position of your choice.

Draft trading capability - can picks in current drafts be traded before or during the draft? Can picks in future years be traded (and tracked)?

The FLASH version of our site does allow you to trade draft picks. The futures draft pick feature is not yet enabled.

Ability to keep teams from year-year (keeper leagues, dynasty leagues)?

Yes, league sites rollover each year allowing keeper and dynasty leagues to do off-season transactions. There is year-round access to the site.

III. LINEUPS, SCORING, REPORTS

Owners set lineups how?

The site can be set to automatically set lineups or each team assigns the lineup each week for their team.

When is the deadline for submitting lineups each week?

The commish can set a hard time deadline or allow it to GAMETIME, which is the gametime of the actual game the NFL player is involved in.

Live Scoring Updates? If Yes, How often does Live Scoring update?

We have Live Scoring Board that gives your teams and scores live updated every 2-3 minutes during the games. Included in our java interface is a NFL score ticker and game highlight ticker.

Can leagues create and alter their own scoring system?

Yes, FanStar is very versatile in its scoring setup. Also, if you cannot fit your rules in our system, we customize at no charge.

Is there a way to award point bonuses based on game milestones? (Qb rating > xx, RB yards > 100, Receiving yards > 100, etc)

Yes, that is compatible with our setup.

Individual Defensive Players scoring?

Yes, that is compatible with our setup.

What is the source for NFL scoring data?

How are scoring discrepancies handled?

We award based on the official stats. Many times stats are changed after the fact. It is still within each league commish's power to amend the scoring based on their interpretations.

Head Coach position available?

Customizable reports?

We have a many, many reports for viewing and printing.

Reports available when? - Results are official 1-2 hours after the Monday night game is completed.

Can you have divisional play in leagues if desired?

Yes, our site can support up to 4 separate conferences, each with their own player pool.

Dynasty functions (ie. salary tracking, contract tracking, archival ability)?

FanStar sites do support salaries and contract tracking.

Describe how your site handles FA Transactions (ie. Blind Bidding, Waiver, Worst to First)?

There are many ways to do transactions in FF. Our site can handle Auction bidding (blind or viewable), Worst to First (based on records) or First Come/First Serve.

Can leagues customize FA Transactions to fit their league rules?

Yes. Our site allows two different transaction periods in which you can choose a multi-system of transactions (ie Worst to First for the first half of the week and then First Come the last)

Email alerts for transactions, trades, etc?

The site parameters allow all league members to be notified, or just the teams and commish, or commish only

Can players make 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 trades?

Yes, the FanStar site facilitates up to 5 to 1 trades.

V. WEBSITE DESIGN, PERFORMANCE, TECH SUPPORT

We do provide a limited phone support, but 99.9% of our support is through email. Most get answered within the same hour (during business time) and never, ever over 24 hours.

Our servers are Linux servers with dual Xeon chips. The speed and dependability are at the top of the market.
