As the careers of Randy Moss, Marvin Harrison and Terrell Owens wind down, fantasy owners should take a minute and reflect on how great these receivers have been. Owens had six seasons as a top-three fantasy wide receiver, and often looked even better on a per game basis. Marvin Harrison had an insane five seasons as the #1 fantasy wide receiver, a feat bested only by Jerry Rice. And Moss? He has accumulated more VBD than either Harrison or Owens, and he's still going strong. Moss won't ever catch Jerry Rice, but he's already moved up to #2 on the career VBD list.

Wide receivers who entered the league before the 1970 AFL-NFL merger are included, but only their post-merger seasons are counted. In addition to the WR and his career VBD, the table below lists the years he played, which teams he played for, and his ranks in every season (his 1st best, 2nd best, 3rd best, etc.) in ascending order.
