Jones was roughed up during a long goal-line series vs. Baltimore, and left the game due to a mild concussion. He took several vicious hits during the series, including a leaping attempt to score met by LB Ray Lewis in mid-air.
Jones was knocked out of the game on Sunday when he injured his right knee. Jones said he felt it "pop" - more tests are scheduled to evaluate the nature and severity of this injury. Jones commented after the game "I had just like a bone bruise. My knee was a little weak at the time so I didn't go back. For me to go back out and make it worse wouldn't have made sense."
McAllister suffered a sprained right knee vs. Green Bay and left the game. An MRI is scheduled to further evaluate this injury. FoxSports reported on Monday afternoon that McAllister tore his ACL in the incident and will require season-ending knee surgery to repair the tear. McAllister and the team are said to be seeking a second opinion.

And I think he probably could have, but as a coach, I need to make a decision based on feeling better about what's making his knee swell up so we're not putting the guy at risk when we put him out there to play."

Fellow offensive lineman LT John Tait sprained his left ankle and was in a walking boot after the game "I sprain my ankles all the time, so it's no big deal. They haven't said anything. I already got X-rayed, so I'm assuming if it was bad, they wouldn't let me be walking around."

Right guard Chris Villarrial was taken to the hospital Sunday morning with an intestinal problem, forcing a last-minute shuffle of the offensive line. His status for the next game is unknown. Fellow OL Mike Williams (himself limited by a sprained ankle) commented "It was unfortunate that Chris couldn't play today, so we needed some extra depth. I talked to the coaches and I went out there and did some stuff before the game. I just wanted to be ready to get in there if things got ill and someone went down. That was my role today, and hopefully next week we'll be back at full strength."
T Oliver Ross (hand, out) and G Ian Allen (back, doubtful) were both inactive on Sunday.
